I am back to share with you a little bit of
Friday Randomness.
But before I start I just wanted to say thanks so much
for so many kind and heartwarming comments on my last post.
This is such a wonderful community here in blogland
it makes my heart smile.
1. We sold our house… It took less than a week to sell.
They weren't lying when they said the market was hot right now.
2. We will be making the move into Big Bertha (our trailer)
in less than 3 weeks. Yikes. I didn’t expect it all to
happen so soon!
But we are ready... Bring it on...
3. You're wondering why we named our trailer Big Bertha?
Because I love the name Bertha.. It was my Grandmothers
name.
BERTHA FAYE MAGEE..
Who wouldn't love a name like that.
She was one of the feisiest redhead Irish ladies you would ever want to meet.
Boy do I miss her. She knew how to spoil her grandchildren.
4. You know your life must be a little bit boring when you
can’t
even think of Five random things to write about.
I think that will all be changing very soon.
5. We are headed down to Arizona tomorrow to visit
Bertha Faye Magee’s daughter.. Yes I ‘m talking about my Mom.

ReplyDeleteI have sold many houses with as many moves in my lifetime, Linda, so if you have a hard time with random thoughts, just know your mind is busy! Good luck with your new adventure. Wow, sounds like you are off and running. Looking forward to your posts from the road. Hubby and I are taking a trip in Oct. to his brother's in New Mexico. We are flying out and renting a van to drive home and see some of our great country and hunt for some cool stuff to sell on our Ebay site. I am looking forward to our trip. I will hopefully be able to blog from the road. I definitely want to do some plein air painting along the way. Blessings to you and yours.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That was a quick sell. It took ours 63 showings and 8 weeks. But that was in 2011-12. I guess the market has changed dramatically since then. Congratulations. :) Can't wait to hear more about your adventures. Btw, I named my latest camera Bertha. :)

Bertha Faye Magee is a great name.
Our dog's name is McGee.. We chose it for it's good character.
Our daughter (only daughter with four brothers) is named Lilly after my grandma's grandma, Lilly Mae Bowser. I love names!

You are just too funny, I can't stop laughing just reading your friday random. Hooray for the house, we just learn that our neighbor 2 doors away sold for 183, that is a 30K more than the price we bought! It is easy to sell when you are individual owner, Vegas is a strange market, so many empty houses but hard to buy one!
