I am back to show you what I found for this
weeks Scavenger Hunt but first I wanted to share with you
about a little road trip the hubby and I took to my sisters house
in Pahrump. Pahrump is only about an hour and half
away from Boulder City where our trailer is parked. It had been
so long since I had been to her house and I was a little bit shocked
to see how much her and her husband had done to there land.
Lets just say they won't be buying any eggs any time soon.
Not with all the chicken they have. And they also got
themselves a couple of pigs.
And in the near future they will be getting a goat.
My city girl sister turned into a farm-girl overnight. LOL..
She is loving her life on there little farm and it so nice
to see her so Happy.
Well that's enough chatting lets get to this weeks
Scavenger Hunt.
So here we go..
THREE
This photo was taken on a trip we took last Oct. to
Saint John, New Brunswick in Canada. They sure do have some beautiful
old Church's and buildings there. We had so much fun exploring
and strolling the streets of this city.
HAND(S)
My attempt at a selfie shot..
I couldn't find anything in my archive that would do.
So you get to see a shot of me drinking my coffee.

FENCE
Here is a photo of one of my sister Rosters.
And he was singing bright and early.
CUDDLY
I have tons of photos of these little feral cats from out by my mom's house.
They look so cute and cuddly but really... they won't let you get near them.
SIGN
I have a couple of signs to show you.
This is the sign in the front of my sisters Chicken Coops.
I thought it was so cute.
SIGN #2
Is this a great sign or what. I happen to think it the perfect name for a bar.
Taken in Saint John, New Brunswick, as well.

ReplyDeleteAwesome shot of the Church.
Your BW Hands Selfie is really nice.
The rooster behind the chicken wire fence is quite handsome.
So loved the Cuddly looking kittens (I'm a sucker for kittens you know)
The Chicken Coup sign was really cool.
Bar with a lot of wine? Sign me up. Love that rooster shot-and who can resist a cuddly kitten? Well, not me.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great sign. The church shot is beautiful and that cat's coat looks a little fuzzy. We have some feral cats here too and you are right...you can not get near them.

i am sure it has been delightful to catch up with our sister and see all the improvements on her land. But I have to tell you...you made me smile the most with the bar sign...so cute.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos - but I absolutely LOVE the church photo. It is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful set! Every picture is fabulous. I love the old church photo, and the selfie of your hands is really nice. I need to do selfies more often. I also love your fence shot of the rooster!
ReplyDeleteLove that fence shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, I really like the colors and the delicacy of the light, the beauty never abandons your work! Greetings.
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture Linda, I can see how your city gal sister turned into a farm girl, when we were there, Randy said the same thing, if we move to Pahrump, he is going to have a garden and plant his own supplies. Last but not least, sorry about today, Randy hasn't been able to sleep well since he got home from new york, so I felt bad to wake him up when he is finally resting on a Sunday morning, we just got home from lunch, and it is 4.15 pm, you can basically guess what time he got out from bed. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHey Linda, so good to see your wonderful photos ( I may have missed some posts, Google confuses me, I still haven't got the gist of how it works ). Your farm girl sister sounds right at home with her chickens and pigs. I absolutely adore the photo of the rooster....do you think I could have a copy of it, I would just love to use it in a scrapbook project. I would also love to visit the "little bar with lots of wine" lol what a cute name. Gorgeous images as always. xx
ReplyDeleteHello again, yes I did miss posts. I love the beautiful Mother's Day card you made and the tour of your "crafting" space...it actually looks quite big in the photo. I am so happy you can still do your craft work while travelling....you must be such an organised person. Beautiful photos too of your gorgeous old cat. I'm sure he is happy to be any where as long as he is with those that love him, pets are really adaptable as long as they feel safe and loved...kinda like humans I guess. xx
ReplyDeleteAs always, I love your pictures! The church doors, the fence and flower...so beautiful. And congrats on your city-farm girl sister; big changes for her and I hope she is very happy!~
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Linda.... Beautiful shots... love your selfie shot! sweet....
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear from you... hugs...x
Mwaaaa...those kitties are just too cute!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week Linda!
xo Catherine
I feel like the Hulk right now because I am green with envy over you pictures! I LOVE that rooster! And what an amazing self-shot! And if that kitten was any cuter, he'd have to be named George Clooney! What mesmerizing eyes he has! Great job!
ReplyDeleteOHhhhhhhhhhhhh you're so sweet and feminine and lovely...I adore your hands...and the glimpse of you is so magical and ...inviting :).
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. That little kitty is so cute but I have some experience with feral cats and they are not pets.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos, Linda! I always love to see them. The rooster photo through the chicken wire fence totally makes me smile. One of my best friends has recently started raising chickens, and this makes me think of her. Love your selfie portrait, too. And it's so nice to hear about your lovely weekend! Glad you got to make a little trip!
