Another Month Gone

Can you believe it?

Hope everyone is doing well.
For a couple of days I was feeling a bit under the weather.
I think I caught some type of flu.  Which is no fun when your trying
to cook a Thanksgiving meal.  My Hubby did most of the work.
What a sweetheart.  We only had one guest and that was a volunteer that works
in the gift shop. She is here as well without her family, so we asked
her to join us.  Then I was worried that I might get her sick.
But she didn't seem to mind.

Our Turkey's in there cooking away.
We have been cooking it this way for years. It comes out so moist and yummy.

We do get some fog from time to time.  I love it because you
can hear the fog horns on the boats... such a cool sound.
This shot was taken from the beach looking up into the town of
Port Townsend.

Speaking of the Town of Port Townsend, here is a photo of their
downtown area.  Such a fun place to shop.

And here is another photo of downtown,
I just love the architecture of the old buildings down here.

And on the other side of those buildings is the Puget Sound.
I never get tired of this view.

At the end of the block is the marina.
Port Townsend is famous for their wooden Boats.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this little tour of Port Townsend.
Thanks so much for all your sweet comments my friends
.
You guys are the best.

Hugs~

  29. What a beautiful place, the architecture is awesome. Love your beautiful photos, but what enchanted most was the rustic way you cooked the Turkey (so yummy!) and when you talked about the mist and the horns... I could so hear, feel and see that! Sorry to hear you we're feeling under the weather when it was Thanksgiving... Hope you're feeling better now.
