"Keep on Walking"

That's the Song for this week's meme
over at Song-ography.

We have been doing lots on lots of walking!
When we are not hiking around the park here, we are out exploring nearby cities.

We took a little ride over to Ft. Collins, CO.
And here are just a few photos of this quaint little city.

Lots of cute little cafes with outside seating.

No, we weren't riding.  We were walking but there were plenty
of folks here who do enjoy riding.

They had painted up pianos located here and there around the city.
It would have been cool to see someone playing.

And of course a stop at the local saloon for a cold one.
The food wasn't half bad either.

Ok this shot really isn't from Ft Collins.
Its from Santa Fe, NM..   I'm throwing it in because the word is texture over at
 OUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD
You have to admit there's a little bit of texture here.

And here are some beauties I added a texture to in photoshop.
The humming birds love these flowers.

I do hope you enjoyed this little tour of Ft Collins.
A fun place to stop if you are ever in Colorado.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I really do appreciate all your kind comments.

Hugs~

  17. Enjoyed your tour of Fort Collins and of course Santa Fe! You found another pub, Linda, how fun for you and Bruce. Now if your really want good food, visit Boulder! There was also a German restaurant, coming down the mountains from Estes Park. It might not be there still...don't know where it would be in relation to your park! I know you are having fun finding all the wonderful things. You need to try some fresh trout...I love it blackened on the grill! Happy camping and hiking! Happy Monday!

  19. When I was in Denver I saw a pedestrian walkway that had pianos painted just like that waiting for passersby to sit down a play some tunes. It was such a fun place to hang out, watch, and listen! My favorite shot is the one of the bike and it's basket tho...great perspective and angle on it. Thanks for taking that walk and linking up to Song-ography!
