Well it is Tuesday..  But not just any Tuesday. It is the first day
of March...  Already!  I really can't believe it.
I think that means its almost time for spring..
YEA!!


Over at City Crafter Challenge Blog we are all ready for spring..

So here is what I came up with for this week..



I was so excited when I saw this challenge.. So much easier than
last weeks challenge.  And these colors are so soft and dreamy..

This card includes all the yummy details I love to add to a card..

I got to use fun seam binding this week and my
little tag has just a touch of blue on it..

I colored my flowers with my copic markers..
I really do need to practice with these a little more..

Just to let you know my daughters shower went well..

She got so many gifts it was crazy.. 

Here she is with some of her girlfriends.

One of her friends made her cake.. It was adorable.

And so yummy..

I didn't get a whole lot of shots..  But if I get some more from family and

friends I will share them with you!!

What a week....

Hello my sweet friends I have missed you!!

Did you notice I have been gone. I have be off line all

week...  We had a bid of a computer problem... Sometime computers
make me so mad...  But if it weren't for computers, I wouldn't have
all my wonderful friends to chat with..  Yep, I mean you!!

So I am back online!  Well sorta back. I have so much to do 

today and tomorrow I really won't have time to catch up till

Sunday.  And I miss you so..

I have had a pretty busy week..  I have been in my craft room
making little goodies for my daughters baby shower..

Lots of Baby Blue seam binding..

Lace!!

We wrapped up some chocolate bars and made them so pretty!

A whole lot of them..

And we beaded these little necklaces for a fun little game..

Filled some cups full of yummy chocolate..

for our a fun treat to win!!

So I think we are all ready for the big day!

Yes, I just have to brag a little...

My hubby has a little hobby of his own..  Woodworking..

He had mentioned to me that he was going to make our daughter a

 rocking horse..  I about flipped when this is what

he came up with..  Can You believe my Hubby made this..

I just love it.. I think they will also..

 I am so happy my computer finally got fixed. 

It was so strange not to be able to get on line.. In fact at first I was quite mad..

 But then I was so busy getting things done, I really didn't have time to be

to upset..

City Crafter Challenge..

I don't know about you but I am so ready for spring..
I can't wait to get out in my yard and do some planting..
I am so done with winter..  How about you?
Do I even need to ask?

These flower are still hanging in there.. I got them for my anniversary

almost 3 weeks ago..

Well onto this weeks challenge over at CCCB!

I am hosting this week and I really don't know what I was thinking..

This challenge was so hard for me to do.  I really can't wait to see

what everyone else comes up with..

Nothing to it!!

That is the bright idea I came up with..  The challenge is to make a

one dimensional card.. You can't add any of your favorite things

like Seam Binding.. Buttons... flowers..   Nope you can't add nothing to it!

Well here is what I came up with..  This simple one dimensional card..
I just love this little butterfly stamp..  But my hubby says it looks like a moth..
I told him I don't even think they make stamps with moths..
Do They?

See nice and flat.. It can go through the mail with no problem.

YEA!!!

I must say I am so Happy that it is finally the weekend..
I don't know if you hear the news about my Cat..  She has has been in
the Hospital all week..  I have been just sick over it!!

 Well the good news is that she got to come home today..
 Which makes this weekend even better..
She is doing well and eating.. YEA!!

I came up to my craft room to do this post and she is here
 by my side just purrring away..   Sweet music to my ears..

When I read what this weeks Tag Tuesday theme was!
"FRIENDS"
And then saw Louise had  made a beautiful tag of a four Legged friend,
 it made me tear up just a little.. 
Thinking of my four legged friend in the hospital.

So I was going to make a TAG with a Cat on it!  My four legged sweetie..
Well you know how that goes..  What you plan and what I ended up
with are to totally different things..   Does that only happen to me!

I just love this Quote,  I have it on a plaque in our office given to me by on old

friend..  And the minute I saw this image I knew I wanted to use it!

I am pretty sure I got it from The Antique Image..

As you can see NO Cat any where on this Tag!

Sorry,  I just couldn't come up with anything..

I added some flowers and lace..

A punched a little  butterfly with a little bling.

And I know you will be shocked..  But I added a little stitching also.

So that is my Tag for this weeks challenge..

I am so Excited...

Hello my sweet friends..  How was everyones Valentines?
Filled with a lot Love and sweetness I hope!
I recieved so much Candy from the little one's at school I will
be eating candy for a year!!  Hee Hee!

I know I have told you this already,  but I am saying it agian..  I am going to
be a GRANDMA soon!!   Yea!!!   I am just a little excited can you tell!
In just a couple of week I will be giving my daughter her
Baby Shower.. Can you see my big smile..  

I just can't wait to hold that little bundle of joy!

I had made this collage for one of the games for her baby shower.

Some of these photo's just have to make you smile..

up with the perfect theme for this week!

So here is the sweet card I made for my daughter for her shower..

Yep..  She is have a sweet little boy!!

I added all my usual touches that I love..  You know some stitching and
yummy seam binding..  I had bought this stamp some time ago at Michael's.
Perfect for the occasion!

Tags, Tags and more Tags....

You know they say when you think you have a problem
the first thing to do is admit that you have a problem..

OK...  Maybe just maybe I have a little problem.
I have a love of making Tags..  It all started so innocently..




Like this one..  I made this Tag years ago..  I used to love
to make a Tag and give them away with a book!!  So really it wasn't
a Tag...   It was a bookmark..

And Then that's when my little obsession started..
I stumbled on to this wonderful little blog..
Kard Krazy..  I thought I had died and gone to Heaven
A blog with people who love to make tags as much as
I do!!    Here is the very first Tag I made for Tag Tuesday!!
That was back in Dec of 2009.

And I kept on playing making these little pieces of art!!!

Now I just counted and in my craft room right now I only have a little
over 40 tags..  I don't think that is too many..  Anyway some of them were
gifts from my wonderful blog friends..

So What do you think?  Do I need an intervention?
Do you have the same problem?
How many Tags do you have?


Well of course I have another Tag to show you..
 It if for this weeks challenge!
Louise is challenging us to make a Tag with a Tag on it..
What could be better than that!!

So here is what I came up with..  I just love this image. I think she is the sweetest..

Of course some stitching and some lace and some seam binding and

some pretty flowers and you have one pretty tag..

With a little Tag that says "love".. perfect for this time of year!!

All That Glitters.....

Good Morning..  How is everyone doing?  Well I hope!
I am back this morning with my card for City Crafter weekly challenge.

Ros is asking us to use Silver and Gold on our card..
I don't know why but when I first read this my first thought was
that song from the Christmas movie Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer..
You know the song.. Silver and Gold... Silver and Gold..
OK that's all the word I know from that song!!  Hee Hee!!
Maybe I need some more coffee!

So Here is what I came up with!! 



A Sparkly Silver Crown and a Gold Pin and Button!

This Challenge was a little tough for me at first..

But the minute I thought to put glitter on this crown..
  It came together pretty quickly!!  As you can see from this
photo..  Glitter is everywhere!!  All That Glitters is just about everything
in my craft room..

So there you have it.. A card with Silver & Gold on it!!

Running around in Circles....

I had one of those week where I didn't get a whole lot done..
The whole week just seem to get away from me..
I started this Tag on Tuesday with good intentions
on having it done at least by Thursday...
 Well here it is Saturday and I am just now getting it done!!
I guess the good thing is that I had a lot of fun making this one!!
It came together pretty easy!

This week over at Tag Tuesday the theme is Circles..
Perfect for the way my week was going..




So I started off with this Face which I just love..  I got the image from
my friend Becca.. 

Once again I don't know where I got this Bird image. I am thinking
Graphic Fairies..  Cause that is where I get most of my images.  But I have
had this one for along time..  So I'm not sure!

I mixed Olive green and vintage white acrylic paint to make the
background tag..  And then I used peeled paint Distress ink for the inside
of the Tag..  Then I decoupage the two together.
For the Top of my Tag I used Chipboard and painted it with
the Olive Green acrylic paint..  Can you believe I have no stitching..

Like I said this one was a lot of fun for me.. I just love pulling out
my paints and inks and getting a little messy!

All You Need is Love....

And I have been feeling the love lately.  Everyone has
been so sweet and leaving me such sweet comments..  I just wanted to
say Thank You!!  I really do Appreciate it so much!

So How about you!! It's that time of the year..
In just a couple of weeks we will be celebrating Valentine's Day!
So are you ready?  I still need to make a valentine for my Hubby!
But I still have some time..

Over at City Crafter Challenge Blog Cheryl is our Host and

 once again has come up with a great challenge...

  Add a Heart to your project or the word "LOVE".

So here is what I came up with!!
  I just love the soft yellow color of this DP.. 

And the pretty Yellow flowers..  Makes me think of spring!

I painted this chipboard heart yellow and added a little glitter!

I really like to make Birthday cards and Thank you cards..
Because when I get a small pile of cards done.. I take them to work
and sell them..  And they seem to sell the best!
