Warning, Warning.....

Just a little warning this is a long post..
So you might want to get comfy..

Well I did it..  I finally finished this sweet little book for
my sweet Grandson to be..

My little book is made out of Lunch sacks..
Sewed right down the middle..

So at all the opening I put a little slide out
so you could add more photos..

 Decorated up all the pages..

With yummy baby blue design paper and card stock.

I used up a whole lot of ribbon & lace and buttons..

Lots of places to put cute little photos of Myles
when he gets here..

What would a baby book be without lots of
 cute little quotes.

Let me tell you my sewing machine got quite the work out..
I ran out of my white thread while making this little project..

I didn't show you all the pages. But there was a total of
18 pages. Not counting the cover.

This is my forth Paper bag mini album.
All the others I made before I started blogging.

So there you have it.
My little book for Myles.
I can't wait till my daughter sees it.

Thanks for popping in and taking a look..
Maybe this will inspire you to make your own book
out of lunch sacks...

Gothic Arches - Spring

Hello my sweets..
How is everyone's week going.  Well I hope!

I am playing along with Gothic Arches this week..  This is the
first time I have played along with them.  I have been wanted to play
in one of there challenges for sometime now.

And this weeks theme is perfect..
SPRING.

You know I had to take a break and play with some different colors for
awhile..  If you know what I mean.  If you don't you can check out my last post..
I have been knee deep in blue DP..Seam Binding, Cute little blue buttons, and lace.
I am finally done with most of the pages of my mini album.
Now I just got to put it all together..  I will show it off soon!!

Till then here is the Gothic Arch I have created..

I had the most difficult time trying to make this arch..
I think I needed a template or something..  Don't look to close you
will see it's not to even..  I roughed up the edges to make it look better..

I have had this image for sometime but have never used it yet..
I can't remember which site I got it from.  But I just love it..
It says spring time all over it.

And what would be a spring theme without a flower..

I had a blast breaking away from the blue paper for awhile..
I hope to play with Gothic Arches again..
And maybe next time I will have better luck with my Arch.
