It all about the Dress…

I have to say Kirsty has come up with a wonderful challenge this week over at

“All Dressed Up"

There are so many way you can go with this challenge.
Your projects need to have a dress or a dress form on it..

I am definitely not the dress up type of gal..
I am totally a jeans and t-shirt kinda gal..
I can almost guarantee you will not see me in a dress and heels....
Maybe if I have a wedding to go to or something like that..

035

Can you picture her in Jeans and a t-shirt..  I sure can’t..

This project started off in a whole different direction and
this is what I ended up with.
I started to make a card and ended up with a ATC..

Has that ever happened to you?

I had a lot of fun making this.
And I just love this image from the Graphic Fairy.

After I cut this image out I glued it onto my ATC which was cover in
Paper from K & Co..    And then I added all kinds of sparkles.
You know a girl has to accessories..

If you want to play along with us this week you can get all the
details of this challenge CCCB!
Or you should at least pop over and see
what all the other ladies have come up with..
I am sure you will love it..

A photo a day for a year..
Well The great news is that I finished..
Here are some collages I made to celebrate my making it to the end..

These are just a few of my shots from 365 days!

A Happy little Tag.....

So how is your week going so far?
Can you believe the weekend is almost here already.
Do you have any big plans. This weekend I plan to hang out and relax.
And hopefully get some crafting done.

I did have some fun yesterday making this little tag..
I just love these colors..  It is such a happy color.
don't you agree..

I got the color scheme from a CR84FN color challenge.
They always have yummy colors to work with..
Thanks Mona.

I have been having fun with this burlap lately.
and you know I just love to add a little lace also..

I started this tag on cream card stock and used all kinds of
Tim Holtz mustard seed distressed ink.  And also some Walnut stain distressed ink.
My bird cage and bird is a rub-on..  and then I stamped the word dream..

Now about these flowers they are for another challenge going on
over at Gingersnap creations. The challenge is to use Baby wipes on your project..
Yep, I made these flowers from baby Myles wipes.
I used my sizzix cutter to make them..  And then used yellow paint to color them.
I am definitely going to make them again.
I just love the way they turned out..

So there you have it another Tag.
I haven't made one in a little while and was having withdraws.. Hee Hee..

That didn't happen either..  In fact I don't know what in the heck
I even got done this week.

I really haven't had a whole lot of time for crafting.
But I did manage to squeeze in this card.
And I am hoping to play a little bit more today.
although I keep telling my self I need to get outside and
do some work out in my yard.  I need to replant some plant the
got fried in this heat. and trim back some other plants that are way out
out of control.  Well enough about that.

I am back with this weeks Card for
 City Crafter Challenge Blog.

Cheryl is our lovely hostess and this week is
asking us to Scrap Happy..
I love it..
I have sooooo many scraps. Like most of you probably do
I save every little piece of paper.

Even this little bird is one I printed awhile ago and never used.

I printed out the little hello on my computer.

I have little scraps of burlap I love to add to little project like this
and of course some stitching..

So there you have it.. Another fun challenge over at City Crafters
So come play with us an use up some of those scrap pieces..
You might just win something.

I hate to say it... But my Vacation has come to an end..
I am going to miss my mornings sipping coffee watching the
waves roll in..  Watching all the birds run in and out with the tide..
It is always so relaxing..

But I do have a lot to look forward to now that I am
home..  Like seeing my sweet little grand-baby..
I am so excited that I will get to see him later this afternoon..

And I just know the kitty's are happy that we are home..
Yep, They go camping with us.
I have to say I think they like it as much as we do..

I do hope everyone is having a great weekend..

A Little piece of Art...

Hello friends..
How are you doing.

I am doing wonderful.. That is because I am still on Vacation
at the Beach.  It is so peaceful and relaxing I am just loving it..
Our biggest decision is should we go for a walk down the beach.
Or just sit here and take it all in!!
I have to say I am one lucky gal!  You know if I could I would
bring you all with me..  Might be a pretty tight squeeze in the trailer..

This guy has been hanging out in front of our trailer the whole time.
I am thinking he wants a sip of my margarita..
Silly bird..

Well down to business..  It is Tuesday which
means it time for another challenge over at

And yep, yours truly is the hostess.
If you been following me you know I have been dabbling a little
with mixed media art..
And it has been fun to add a  little doodling to some of my projects.
So that is what I came up with for this weeks challenge..
I want to see some hand-doodling on your projects..
Sound like fun right..

Ok... I didn't say I was good at doodling.. Hee Hee..
But it sure is fun..

This is another ATC..  Some times it's hard to tell
how little this is..

The house was cut out of different kinds of paper
and all layer on with modge podge.
And the background is book paper with some
Watercolor paint over it.. Lots of fun to make.

I got this idea out of a Somerset Studio magazine.
When I saw it I thought is was so cute I just had to give it a try..

To get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over to
CCCB.  You should pop on over and see what all the other Ladies have
come up with..

I still have the rest of this week here at the ocean.. So I might be a little
slow getting around to visiting you..  But I will be by soon!!

Orange....

Hello my friends.
I am back to share with you a tag I made.
It is the last week of challenges over at
Summer of colors.
And this weeks color is Orange.
This color was a little tough for me to work with.
It always reminds me of Halloween.

I also wanted to share with you this flower.
I took this shot while we where camping in Utah.
I just thought it was so pretty..

Well here it is..  My tag.  I had a lot of fun making this.
I cut my hearts out of of scrapbook papers..
And decoupage them on to my tag.

Then I just used some watercolors and acrylic paints.
Some stamps and rub-ons..

I did a little doodling.

And tied the top off with some eyelash yarn..
So I showed my hubby and I guess he doesn't appreciate fine
Art.. Hee Hee..  He didn't like my tag at all..
I really don't think he knows what he's talking about..

To see all the other entries you can head on over to
Kristin's blog and see all the other wonderful Orange entries.

So Ladies I have to tell you I am out of town again for a whole week.
Camping out at the ocean..  And boy am I going to miss Myles.
But I just love hanging out here,  Can you here the ocean waves..
They are crashing in right now as I am typing.

I will try to get by and see everyone..
soon!!

Thanks so much for stopping by..

Till next time my friends..
