City Crafter Challenge..

I don't know about you but I am so ready for spring..
I can't wait to get out in my yard and do some planting..
I am so done with winter..  How about you?
Do I even need to ask?

These flower are still hanging in there.. I got them for my anniversary
almost 3 weeks ago..

Well onto this weeks challenge over at CCCB!
I am hosting this week and I really don't know what I was thinking..
This challenge was so hard for me to do.  I really can't wait to see
what everyone else comes up with..

Nothing to it!!

That is the bright idea I came up with..  The challenge is to make a
one dimensional card.. You can't add any of your favorite things
like Seam Binding.. Buttons... flowers..   Nope you can't add nothing to it!

Well here is what I came up with..  This simple one dimensional card..
I just love this little butterfly stamp..  But my hubby says it looks like a moth..
I told him I don't even think they make stamps with moths..
Do They?

See nice and flat.. It can go through the mail with no problem.

To get all the details on this challenge you can head over to CCCB!

There is a great prize up for grabs this week..
$15.00 from Pixie Dust Paperie..

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Linda

I have been waiting all night for your post! Kirsty's was really early today!!!! We can not add anything but there can be layers, right? I love your butter-oth! It could be either or or a combination, just giving you a laugh. It is late and I have not had dupper. I have been working in the yard when I take the cats out. Yesterday Fluffy got herself on the roof, took up my gardening time! Your card is lovely and the challenge looks like fun! Have a great tuesday!

This is absolutely beautiful Linda, even it has no ribbon, buttons or flower!
I love being challenged, so I would say, this is a good one!

Hi there Linda, love your one dimensional, I love moths nearly as much as butterflies! You're so right 'bout time spring was here. We have snowdrops, the daffodils have yet to burst into colour but it won't be long, next few days, yippee!:0)

Winter is just dragging on and on.... I can't stand it!

Your flowers are so pretty ~ even after 3 weeks! And your card ~ cute as per usual!! I bought some cute butterfly embellishments at the dollar store this weekend and am hoping to have a crafting weekend coming up soon while hubby is away at a hockey tournament!

Have a super week Linda!

What a super shot of the flowers in the glass...I love it when flower stems are so distorted through glass and water...these look great!...super one layer card too.

Hi Linda, well I still think this is a pretty card. I never would have thought twice about that until Bruce said something, but it's still beautiful and could be a butterfly! I think I posted photos once of a "fluttering" insect that I called a butterfly, but it was grey with orange spots and it was probably a moth too, but it was still lovely! Your flowers still look so pretty, that's what's nice about that kind...they last forever, unlike roses. Have a lovely day, I have the day off, so I'll chat with you later. :-)

I love it when flowers last longer than I think they would. I have some lilies from a few weeks ago that are still going strong! I think your stamp looks like a butterfly but even if it’s not at least it’s pretty.

Ah ha! So we have YOU to thank for this difficult challenge! I've been seeing cards around this week, and I have to admit to being totally intrigued and yet horrified by this challenge all at the same time. Guess it would be a true challenge, and I have a hard time resisting that.
I think you did an awesome job. Clean and simple with lots of layers and very pretty stamping. A+, girl!

Nothing to it's not so easy huh? LOL I still haven't come up with anything that's not "something" {grin}. I love your little butterfly card. It really didn't need anything else. Hugs!
