Tags, Tags and more Tags....

You know they say when you think you have a problem
the first thing to do is admit that you have a problem..

OK...  Maybe just maybe I have a little problem.
I have a love of making Tags..  It all started so innocently..

Like this one..  I made this Tag years ago..  I used to love
to make a Tag and give them away with a book!!  So really it wasn't
a Tag...   It was a bookmark..

And Then that's when my little obsession started..
I stumbled on to this wonderful little blog..
Kard Krazy..  I thought I had died and gone to Heaven
A blog with people who love to make tags as much as
I do!!    Here is the very first Tag I made for Tag Tuesday!!
That was back in Dec of 2009.

And I kept on playing making these little pieces of art!!!

Now I just counted and in my craft room right now I only have a little
over 40 tags..  I don't think that is too many..  Anyway some of them were
gifts from my wonderful blog friends..

So What do you think?  Do I need an intervention?
Do you have the same problem?
How many Tags do you have?

Well of course I have another Tag to show you..
It if for this weeks challenge!
Louise is challenging us to make a Tag with a Tag on it..
What could be better than that!!

So here is what I came up with..  I just love this image. I think she is the sweetest..
Of course some stitching and some lace and some seam binding and
some pretty flowers and you have one pretty tag..

With a little Tag that says "love".. perfect for this time of year!!
Can't wait to stop by and see all the other Tags over

Thanks Louise for another fun week.. And giving me so much inspiration for
my little problem..

Hugs, Linda

Hi there tag mad person..... nah not a real problem! but I'm glad to see them on display, would be a shame to hide the beautiful creations away. I share your love of tags but realised that I could only use them on cards so I stopped making them for a while.
Yours are stunning!!!:0) xxx

Gorgeous, the image is so beautiful and works a treat with the vintage style embellishments, beautiful! I too LOVE tags and have done for years. I have the old ones stashed away somewher, must dig them out and store them altogether. Great to also see how our styles change over the years. I used to work with very grungy dark colours and 'wierd' images but now prefer pretty, vintage style. Keep the tags coming, hey are gorgeous! Sue x

Hi Linda, You have some amazing tags. I just recently started to make tags and I'm really seeing how you can become addicted. They are fun to make and are great little gifts. Linda

Hi there Linda, I have something for you on my blog:0) xxx

Faye said...

Linda, Your tag on tag entry is so gorgeous. I have the same addiction as you. I love making tags. I sometimes don't know if they are bookmarks or if they are tags. I'm pretty sure the ones I give to the homebound folks must be tags since some have really bad eyesight.

Oh I don't think that's a problem at all. I too love to make tags but I give a lot of them away so I probably don't have more than a dozen or so.
You'r tag is wonderful. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Some obsessions are problems, others are joys - I put making tags into that latter category! They are so much fun to make!!! And yours truly are little pieces of art - just beautiful!

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment on my birdhouse tag! Blessings, Becky
