Just a couple of projects to show you....

So how is everyone doing?
My week is going well..  Tomorrow is my last day of work,
then I get two weeks off from work.
Yea.... Spring Break..
I work for a City program so we get two weeks instead of one..
Double Yea!!!

I am Back today with two different projects..  The first one is for

And the second on is for a new challenge I am playing along with called

So here is my TAG..
This week Rebecca wants us to use a chair on our Tag..
I was starting to think I wouldn't get to play this week.. I could not find a chair.
I can't believe I forgot that I had this stamp.  And I love this stamp..
The funny thing is that it sits on a shelf in plain site.

It seems like I had a hard time with the design of this tag..
I could not come up with anything..  So it took me way longer than it should have..
I hate that..

Lots of stitching and a little tag to top it off.

So there is my tag for this week.

To check out all the other Tags you can hop over to Rebecca Blog HERE.
Thanks so much for The very challenging challenge this week Rebecca..

So here is the card I made..  One of my Co-workers asked me if I could make her
a mothers day card..  But she asked me not to make it with to many embellishment so
she could mail it easier.  I am entering this card in a challenge called

and the word this week is
LACE

That was pretty hard for me to do..  So here is my simple card.. No bows or buttons..
Just a little LACE and some stitching..

I just love this sweet image..

I am hoping she likes it..

So I also have some wonderful news.. My Daughter will be induced on
Saturday..  Yep... That means I will be a Grandma on Saturday..
Maybe Sunday if she has a long labor..
So if you don't see me around blogland that is why..

Take care all my sweet friend.
And Thanks so much for all your Kind comments.
I do appreciated them all so much..

Hugs, Linda

Oh Linda! He will be born the 16th or 17th, how perfect, unless she goes into labor before then! I have been with you in spirit all week. My DIL was induced with her first, my Colin! We got to Oklahoma from Colorado, just in time to wait a bit. My son was sick the night before and the day his son was born(flu) but he was right there with them(mask on). It was wonderful to be a part of Colin's enrty into the world. Hugs to you!

Oh Linda how exciting for Saturday!!!!!! Having a grandchild is one of the best things ever!!!!!
The tag is gorgeous. I don't know what I would have done for the challenge, and the Mother's Day card is adorable. I dug my sewing machine from the loft the other day as I love the way stitching adds so much interest to cards, only to have it whipped away by my son in law to alter their curtains. Bless him , he puts his hands to anything. Have a fab break, and make the most of some time spent with your soon to arrive grandchild... Sue x

Linda, your tag and your card are truly breathtaking! I love all of your perfect stitching and the vintage look to both of these creations. I haven't sewn for nearly 30 years…I used to be pretty good, but I didn't enjoy it. I have wanted to sew on my cards for many months now, and my grandma just gave me her old sewing machine. I need to practice so (SEW) I can do this!

Oh, how exciting! I'm thinking you are a grandma by now! I am just so thrilled for you!
Love your projects, Linda! I smiled over your chair comments about the stamp sitting in plain view. I think your tag turned out so sweet. Love all the stitching and the perfect sentiment. Fabulous card, too. It's beautiful, even without all the dimension.
