She let her inner artist explore....

So before you go any further you have to promise me
you won't laugh..  OK you can if you want.
My hubby is still laughing..

I am trying something a little different.  I am taking a class in Mixed Media..
I guess I need a lot more practice..  Hee Hee..

So this is my canvas for Week 1..   The class is already on Week 2..
But it is a internet class..  So I can go at my own pace.  Thank Goodness.

I had so much fun with this..  Even though my gal is a little over weight and has ugly hair.
Hair was a big challenge..

There was a lot of layering..  LOTS and LOTS of layering..

I don't know, Do you think I should have given her some shoes?
Or maybe some feet to put shoes on!!

Well I still have two weeks of class to go..  If you would like to know
Who and were I took my class from, You can check it out

Christy Tomlinson is such a wonderful teacher..  If you get a chance
her class is well worth it..

Thanks Linda and Janna for all your inspiring work. I would have never
found this class if it was not for you guys..

*******************

You know I couldn't let you go with out a sweet shot of
precious Myles..  He just melts my heart..  I could watch him sleep all day..
Oh Yea...   I Did..   Hee Hee....

Thanks for all you kind comments..

ahhhh isn´t Myles soooo sweet....and your girl is too...I was only laughing when you said she was overweight and had a bad hair day:) but I think she is really really coooool and the background is wonderful and no she looks better footless and carefree ,,,but that is just my opinion. Make some more,,,make a whole family of them!

Hi Linda! I am impressed with your class artwork and no I am not laughing. I don't think it matters if your overweight woman has feet or not. Check out my daughter's blog if you want to see different. She used to do painted things, now designs dolls and sells the patterns and they are indeed art! and as for Myles, watch him sleep every moment you can because he will grow up so fast! and yes they do indeed melt the heart.

My daughter Amy's blog:
http://www.anlinadesigns.com/blog/
there is a lot of other artists dolls on now as Amy is hosting a doll conference and advertising her teachers art.
