Sooooo Happy!!!

Well I have to start by saying I am so excited and Happy!!
Any guesses Why??

I am officially off work till September..
I am so excited I could just scream..  Not that I don't love my job.
But after 9 months with 4 and 5 year olds I definitely need a break!!
I found this photo on-line..  I can feel his joy!!!

So I am hoping to do a little more crafting, we will see..
We have a lot of camping trips planed this summer..

Well as you know if you follow me it is Tuesday which means time
I am the host this week..  And I came up with a pretty easy challenge..
Stripes and polka-dots..
Just create a project with both these things and thats it..
Pretty easy!!

Here is what I came up with..

I love to use the color green.. This card came together pretty quick..
NO STITCHING..  What was I thinking..

This butterfly is from K&CO.  I have used these before. I just think
They are so pretty..

So there you have it..  A card with stripes and Polka dots..
To get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over to

I have a little confession to make..
I also played along with I HEART TO STAMP..  I used there sketch
for my card..

This is a copy of the sketch for May..
to play along with them you can head over

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting me..
Your comment mean the world to me..

What a beautiful card, Linda! I especially love the butterfly! First, I thought your surprise was that you had a new kitten. this one is perfect! Second, I am so happy for you to be off, but Linda, are you seriously going to expect us to believe that you plan on leaving town a lot and leaving that new grandbaby? I know life goes on, but babies seem to have that way of stopping them! I can definitely understand needing a break from a lot of children and talking to adults again full time, after all I have cats! Have a great week!

How did I miss your Tuesday post???????This is just soooo perfect, love the cutie kitty too. I'm off for a week in a fortnight,as much as we love our jobs, you just need to recharge the batteries. My break is only for a week though as we don't break for summer till the end of July here.
I've been having so much blogger trouble that I spent all Tuesday evening trying to work out how to schedule two DT posts, I'll be glad when I've got the hang of it all again! Enjoy your break,Julie.x
