Hello my sweets...

I am back today not with a crafty project to show you.
Not to say I haven't been in my craft room creating.
Cause I have..  Just not much to show.  I have been
playing with my Art journal. Repainting a bird house. Playing with
some canvases..  Just fun stuff like that..

All of a sudden I realized it was  already Thursday..
Where in the heck did this week go.   I wanted to play with
the Summer of color.. This weeks color was Red.
And I have not a thing to show you..

So I thought about it...  And thought some more....

And this is what I came up with..

Yep, Some of my photo's with the color red in them

That was a little bit more difficult that I thought it would be.

Because I didn't have as many as I thought I would have.

Maybe just maybe red is not my color.

For some reason I thought I would have all kinds of red photo
from my archive to chose from..  but this is it.

So I will leave you now with my Red photos and something to
ponder about the color Red..

Red can symbolize many things; from blood, to love, to infatuation.
Basically red symbolizes strong emotions, or things of strong emotions
rather than intellectual ideas.  For example, red can symbolize excitement,
energy, speed, strength, danger, passion, and aggression.

Ironically, red cats symbolize bad luck.

I don't know if I have ever seen a red cat..
Have you!!

To see all the other entries you can head on over to Kristin's

Thanks so much for stopping by..
I will be back soon with something crafty my friend.

Ooo we are so alike with that color. All your photos are lovely, but like you I don't think I have that much "red" either...it's just not my color. I think we are more blue/green girls don't you? A red cat? Humm I would call my kitties orange, and they only symbolize love. :-)

Lovely day Julie.

Glad I don't own a red cat! LOL Hey, I think your photos are SUPERB, Linda. I'm marveling at the crispness in details, even close up. THanks for sharing bits of nature with us! Sometimes we forget to look at the little things.

Your pictures are outstanding and I love to look at them. PLease never apologise for not ahving that much photo with red :) I can learn a lot from you about photography.(And cardmaking)
Red is really not my color. Working with red is getting on my nerves :) It reminds me of blood, agressive behaviour and the menopause. ( You know getting warm and all the changes in these d... hormons :)...!)

Hugs,
Stella

Your photos are always amazing Linda! I need a better close up lens for mine, but it probably won't matter anyway. Photography is a gift some people have. I'm afraid I'm just a regular run of the mill point and shooter. LOL Thanks for sharing these beautiful images. :-)

Although I am not a big fan of red, in fact I have a little fear, LOL, but I sure love to admire someone's art with lots of red, it is GORGEOUS!!!!

How funny........a red cat. Never seen one, but it's interesting to think on. Red is definitely a strong color. I had two red walls in my childhood bedroom that I absolutely begged my parents to paint. Now I look back and really wonder at that decision. How on earth did I ever fall asleep in there? ;)
Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. And I'm so glad you've been doing some playing in your art room. Sounds wonderful and relaxing.

Hi My friend, Gorgeous red photos , I thought there were quite a few and each fabulous, well done:0) I have to admit I've never seen a bright red cat, I've seen a very sorry cat, mine when he jumped into the bath thinking it empty and it wasn't, it was actually full of very cold water, LOL Hugs Gay xxx
