I gave it my best shot...

Did you ever start a project with something in mind and by the
time your done it looks nothing like you visioned in your mind..
Well that is what happened to me..

Don't get me wrong.. I had a blast playing around and trying new technique
I just don't really know if I like the out come..

So for my Tag today I played along with a couple of challenges.

The color this week over at Summer of color is Brown..
I know what you are thinking.. It looks a little yellow..
But believe me It's Brown my friends..
The background started off a cream then I inked it up with some
Tea dye distressed ink,  And then after I embossed it I used Walnut stain
distressed ink..  I love playing with distressed inks..

And of course I had a blast using Mr. Tim Holtz techniqes on this
Tag.  To see his Majesty in action you can head on over to his blog HERE and
see all the detail on how to make the tag for this week..

Lets just say I used a lot of clear embossing powder this week with lots of distress ink.
I love the effect you get.. I don't know if you can see it here..

I made an attempt at making a flower from pages out of an old book..

One thing I did learn is that I definitely need some more Tim Holtz products..
Than again who doesn't.

To get the detail on this challenge you can head on over to
Linda's blog at Studio L3
Thanks so much Linda for hosting these fun challenges..

And to get all the details on summer of colors you can hop over
to Kristen's Blog Twinkle, Twinkle..
Thanks also to you Kristen.  I have had a blast playing your challenges..
I am looking forward to Red next week..

Well That's all I have for now my friends..
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Linda
