A Day at the County Fair…

I just now getting around to editing some photos I took
from the county fair in Ventura.  I have to say going to the fair really
makes me feel like a kid again!!

I hadn’t been to a Fair in for ever..
All the smells of the food cooking and loud music
brought me back to when I was a kid..

My first stop was to get a hot dog on a stick.. My hubby said I was crazy..
They had so much wonderful and yummy food here at the fair..
But like I told my hubby, I can’t go to a fair and not get a corn dog..
It just wouldn’t be right..

And then there were the rides..

I just don't remember rides being this scary when I was young.

The swings were always a favorite..

And who doesn't love to ride the marry-go-round..

And how can you forget all the crazy games.

You know you always have to play.
Even if the prizes are not even worth it..

This one cracked me up… They must have ran out of coke bottles..
And had to throw in a Corona bottle..

Well there you have it,  A great day at the fair..

I am linking up with

Thanks so much for stopping by..

Hugs, Linda

Fun pictures! I went to the fair this year for the first time in quite some time. Don't know if you like Trace Adkins, but it was so awesome to be there for the concert! Had a blast and forgot about my age! Hugs!

Love your series, all so wonderful. Sure brings back memories when I was a kid and would go to the Texas State Fair every year in Dallas. Had my first corny dog there too. I like how you mixed in b&w's. I always have a hard time with b&w's.

You certainly captured all the fun things about a fair! And I agree with you that it wouldn't be the same without a corn dog. :)

Oh, what fun!! I don't like corn dogs but I would have my fair food of choice first off, too.

Your ferris wheel photo is classic – beautiful! And those ducks with goggles – hilarious!

Great photos – thanks so much for sharing.
