Hello my sweet friends...

How have you all been..  It seems like ages since my last post..
Oh yea, It has been. I was so busy last week.  And then on Friday we left
for a little camping trip.  I had every intention on doing a post before I left,
but time got away from me. So no internet for the long holiday weekend.

But I did get to enjoy the great outdoors..  We took a 3 hour hike on
Sunday and my legs are still sore..

Well it's that time of the week again.
You know what time.. It's Time For City Crafters Challenge..
And this week I am hosting again.
I think I came up with a pretty fun challenge.
After such a busy week I thought it was perfect.

Easy as 1-2-3

All you need to do is put
1 Bow on your project
2 or more words
3 or more butterflies.

That's it...  Pretty easy right..

So here is my card for this weeks challenge..
The toughest part is were to put those butterflies.

But of course the Bow was no problem at all..

I just love this lace I put under my ribbon.

Now don't look to close at these two words I used..
I used black embossing powder.  And of course I didn't even
notice how much of the powder I missed before I heated it up..
The minute I saw the photo I could see what I missed.
Darn these old eyes of mine.  Hee Hee..
Thank goodness the gal I am giving this too has eye-site just as
good as mine..

So there you have it..  Another fun challenge at CCCB.
To get all the detail or to see what the other DT have done you can hop over HERE!

I promise I will stop by soon to visit everyone soon!!
Thanks for stopping by my sweet friends..

Till next time!!

How wonderful that you got away for the weekend! Don't worry about the little bits of left over black powder, I think that just adds to the uniqueness of cards. Perfect!
Happy Week Linda!

Linda, that bow is fab-u-lous! My friend Andrea tried to show me how to do that double bow, and I haven't tried it myself yet. For shame! I like your challenge - it sure is easy. :)

This is BEAUTIFUL, Linda!! What a fun challenge. You chose wonderful colors, too. :)

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my vacation post. We really did have a fabulous time. And thanks again for all of your insider info regarding Las Vegas and I-15!! We had really hoped to drive down The Strip was we trundled through Vegas, but we spent more time at Zion that morning than we had anticipated and by the time we got to Vegas, we were running late--and were worried about that Sunday afternoon westbound I-15 traffic!! Turns out we made the right choice by skipping The Strip (we were able to see quite a few famous place just from I-15, so that was a decent consolation). Traffic was awful and getting worse all the time--and in 111F heat, no less. Hubby was afraid of the engine overheating in the crawling traffic on some of those inclines while pulling the trailer, so we had to have the a/c off half the time. Ick! But knowing that there would likely be traffic issues made it easier to swallow. Thanks so much for the info!!

I don't know where to start. I'm overflowing with thoughts and words!

First, I LOVE the new look! The soft mint color is gorgeous and the font is PERFECT!

This card is gorgeous and you can't convince me there is anything wrong with your embossed words. I'm loving the bow too - did you stiffen the seam binding in any way to make the loops stand up? It's wonderful! The butterflies are in the best of spots - marvelous layout!

Thanks for sharing ...
