I have had a fun week didn't get a whole lot done.
Just getting settled back into my daily routine after being gone..
Well as you know I just love taking photos.. Just like a lot of you!
It really does help me notice all the beauty out there in this
big old world we live in.
Here is a photo of a bougainvillea I took in CA. I just love the
color. I have never seen this color before..

I did manage to get into my craft room a play with some paints..

And then all of a sudden you go a whole different way..
Yes there was a flower on here a moment ago..
It just didn't feel right!
So this is what I ended up with. How in the heck did that happen..

Haha... I love how that turn out, it happened to me all the time, I could "dream" about something I want to do, when i got up the next day, the thing I create just turn out totally different from what I had in mind at the first place!

That bougainvillea is wonderful too. It is so nice to see a different color. Here, ours are only pink and red.

I have never seen that shade of bougainvillea! It is so unusual and beautiful. I love the butterfly layout you ended up with. The closest thing I can relate to that is sometimes I go out to photograph a particular thing or place and wind up with something totally different. Hope you have a great weekend!

Awesome creation Linda! That happens to me all the time, I often change directions in the middle but as long as we are happy with the end result ,I guess that's art, or women LOL. Love that bouganvillia!

Well, what a surprise, Linda! I kept scrolling back and forth to see where the flower had gone.(Where have all the flowers gone, long time passing?) Anyway, I think I like the butterfly on this canvas better than the flower because of the text you've written. The music looks great and the colors so delicious.

I love your butterfly. I have heard that when the monarch comes to visit one, that it is the spirit of a loved one now gone. I kind of like that thought. We do get some monarchs in our yard. Yours is beautiful. Nice job.

I have never seen Bouganvilla that color either...used to have a hot pink one, but they do not do well in Kansas. Or at least I don't think so...maybe it was just my poor skill at caring for the poor thing.
