Hello my sweet friends.. I have been in such a great mood lately.
I think it has a little to do with all the rain we have been getting.
We don't get much of the wet stuff here in the Desert..
So when we do it make me sooooo happy!
So I have been playing in my journal again..
This is all so new to me..
I have been watching videos on how to draw faces
and then paint them..
Added some sheet music as a dress..
Topped her off with a pretty crown..
So here you have it.. My Mixed media Angel..

those are such stunning photos of rain drops on the flowers. I can't really relate to your joy at the rain because, living in Ireland, I see more than my fair share of it most days!! I do remember living in North Africa for a couple of years and being really happy when it rained though so I can see how living in the desert the rain would make you happy!
I love your sweet journal illustration and the addition of the sheet music. PPF is a great place to hang out so I'm glad you decided to join in!

Beautiful Linda. Painting is a really good way of calming down. I have been trying with my son and so far so good. We are not artists, but he loves to play with colors. I also bought some canvas and he loves when I fin a special place to show his work.
