A cup of Virtual coffee & CCCB

It's Tuesday
and as I am sitting here sipping my coffee I was just
thinking how nice it would be if you were here with me!

We would chat about how fast October pasted and how we can't
believe November is already here!   We would talk about how
Christmas is right around the corner and I am so excited..
I do love Christmas.  But I am sure you knew that!

I would ask you how your weekend was and then I would tell you mine
was just about perfect.  I watch some movies with my hubby,
did some hiking with my friends,  Babysat Myles so Mom could
go out with here friends..  Went grocery shopping which I don't like much.
I usually try to talk hubby into going!  He likes it a lot more than I do!
But all in all it was a great weekend..

Then I would show you what I made for this weeks
I would tell you that I am hosting this week.
And the theme I picked was a Post Card..

And you would tell me how gorgeous it is because that's
what friend do.  And I would thank you
because that is what friends do!

Then after we had finish a couple of cups of coffee or tea.
You would go home so you could get on with your day and
I could get on with mine.

But it sure was nice spending time with my friend.

Such a beautiful post, Linda! I love all your photo's. You sound like a friend I had in Balikpapan, Indonesia. We all lived in a compound, and my friend would walk down every morning and we would have a cup of? and then we would walk around the compound. It was such a great time as we walked and talked and lost weight! Those were the best friend times. When we moved I really missed her and still do. I love you postcard, yes it is beautiful! Thanks for the cup this morning. Happy November!

Plus I would very much admire your beautiful postcard with the great stitching. Living in the UK makes it a bit difficult though, but a girl can dream..........xx

I would so love to take coffee with you lovely Linda, the virtual one was just about perfect. Don't think you'd get rid of me quite so easy though, I'd want you to talk me through how you achieve such perfect makes as this gorgeous post card,I'd get you to show me how you create your mixed media tiny works of art and by the way, I'd have my Copics in my bag so we could have a little play! That would be a great afternoon spent! Major hugs and a huge slice of coffee and walnut cake, Julie.x

I know if I lived closer ... we'd meet for coffee (or hot chocolate) and visit each others craft rooms to "oooo and ahhh"!

Love the card - birds and the Eiffel Tower ... pure bliss.
