Four Legged Friends....

I have to say you guys are the best!!
You made me feel so much better with all the sweet
comments from my last post.
Thanks so much!!

We spent four days with our parents. And had such a great time.
But I have to say I think my Mom is Quickly becoming

A CRAZY CAT LADY!

She started out with one orange tabby..  His name is Tommy!
He is a wild cat and I couldn't get a photo of him,
He was no where to be found.

But there were many other cats to get photos of.
Well lets just say Tommy is a player and has been getting around.
My Mom thinks he is the Father to all these kitty's.

I counted at least 10 cats.

My mom can't stand to watch them starve and she can't
catch them..  So she feeds them.. So they are not going anywhere soon!

It was really hard to get photo's of them.  The minute they see me
they take off running.  It was crazy to watch them all run away
at the same time.

She has called animal control to ask what she should do.
But they keep telling her they have too many animals right now.
And call back later..  She might have 50 by the time they can help her.

****

Well...  speaking of four legged friends...  That is what the challenge
is all about over at City Crafter Challenge blog..
(How is that for a segue)

Ros is our host this week and has come up with a great challenge!
Incorporate an animal into your project..
(This digi stamp is from our sponsor, Stretch bubbles)

So I created this CAS card..  But maybe it isn't so simple.
I had the toughest time coloring this guy with my copic markers..
I think I need a lesson or two on how to color big spaces..

Lets just say don't look too close!!  Hee Hee!!

If you want all the details on this challenge you can hop on over
to City Crafters Challenge blog..  And while your there you
can check out what all the other gals did..
You could win some free Digi stamps from

Thanks so much my friends for stopping by..

till next time...

Hugs, Linda

I could easily become a cat lady myself...especially if they are kittens. This is why I don't put food out. Your photos are all so fun...you got great shots of them.

Love your reindeer's nose! And I think you did a great job coloring him in.

Glad you are feeling a little better.

What pretttty kitty kats!!! They all look so clean and well-fed for being wild cats...but I know you mom is feeding them and all but lots of time the wild cats look so disscheveled..can´t spell it but you know what I mean...wild looking fur with straw hanging from them and looking like they have not bathed in a month type of cat look:) They look great...and the playboy TOMMY is quite the man about town isn´t he. I know this syndrome well....as we had a cat who everyone called "Mr. Big" and he was quite handsome so of course allllll the girls in the whole area were smitten and of course had kittens....the rest is history. No one ever knew where Mr. Big came from or where he lived or where he went but we had atleast 20 MINI ME´s that looked just like him all over the area. I even took several of his "Tussies" to the vet and had them fixed cause they could not keep their paws off Mr. BIg and I did not want any more kittens to feed.........sadly we moved from that house and I often wonder if the next occupant even fed all the little darlings or not. You should have brought ONE home for your cats to play with:)...cough, cough...
I love your RUDI card!!! Made me smile!! Have a great day!!

This couldn't be more DARLING! LOVE it! FAB kitty photos!

I love your card!!! so cute! and as for the cats ... I had that problem once ... I managed to get traps to catch them all from our RSPCA and then I had them all neutered and some were re-homed by the cats protection league ... those that were too wild got to come back with me and I fed them all ... Did you know one cats un-neutered is responsible for 20,000 in 5 years!! Yeh, worth trying to get them sorted!

TexWisGirl said...

she needs to set traps, then get them spayed and neutered at the local humane society or county animal control. she can release them again after if she wants and keep feeding them. but at least the babies would stop!

Love all the photo's of your mom's cats! I would adopt a couple, they are so lovely, but I have four, and one I feed outside that the owner of this house left. I love your four legged friend card, Linda. It is so fun!, image too. Great challenge. It has been thundering here most of the night and morning, with a little rain at 1:05Am and more a few hours ago. I love to listen to the thunder and rain and will never complain about the rain! Have a wonderful day.

My daughter is the cat lover in our family, currently she has 4 that all live inside the house. I have always been partial to dogs, but I can't resist a kitten. Lovely shots of the kitties, and your card is darling. Would you put me on your Christmas Card list??

Goodness, what a lot of kitties, your mum obviously feeds them well. Many years ago, We were adpoted by a stray cat who we fed,the neighbourhood wild stud treated her well and she turned up one day followed by 7 kittens, far too wild to get close to. The cats protection had to set traps to catch them all and they also spayed "Susie" she came back to live with us and our other 2 cats. She was very loving but sooo aloof. Loving your card, the image looks wonderful, don't knock your colouring,it's mighty fine! The big spaces can be so tricky to colour,I often result to the marker end to fill in such large areas, but am often unsuccessful as I've shared before;)
Happy crafting,Julie.x

I especially love the photo of the cat behind the white fence. Your mother must be a softie with a big heart to feed all these cats. A special reward in heaven for her, I'm sure. :)

Oh, the reindeer made me smile so much! How cute is he?
The cats....wow. Can't say I would feed any of them, but they sure are good looking for feral cats. How funny it must have been to watch them all scatter at once!

All those kitties are so cute! At least you don't have to worry about them in cold weather but I guess too hot of weather is bad too!

Look at you working on your Christmas cards ~ good for you. I am hoping to do some of that this weekend. After I put up my Christmas tree. ;)

Your card is truly adorable, Linda! Just love what you all are doing with that fun reindeer. Love that you fussy cut the image with it's fun wonky frame and love all the layers you've added. Each one adds so much lovely detail to your card. Loving that brown ribbon, too. Brown is my absolute favorite color, actually. :)

LOL My uncle was the cat man for a while. He had about thirty and they were all wild too. They all started disappearing and we're not sure where to although we have a hunch that a bobcat that was spotted locally may have been the culprit.
Your little card is so cute! What a funny little fellow with his crooked eyes. LOL Great card for the challenge Linda! Hugs!

I wish people would be responsible and spay/neuter their pets! Sadly the one's that are not reponsible are also the ones that dump pets! Oh well, that is where all my dogs have come from and it takes some time to gain their trust! Your Mom is a sweetheart to help!

Love your Ruddy!!! Such a sweet and adorable card! Have a great evening!
