Hello there!!  So good to see you.
So you know the time changed... right?
I am not liking it at all!!
Most years I do get pretty irritated when the time changes.
I really don't know anyone who likes it..
And really don't understand why we do it!!

But this year is even worse.  I think I am at the beginning or maybe
even in the middle of the "M" word.   Yes... Menopause!!!
So between not being able to sleep as much because
of night sweats.. And now my internal clock all screwed up the last
two mornings. I have woke up at 4:00 AM.
WIDE AWAKE.
So yes I am blaming it on the time change.
Because I can!!

So when you read my comments and if they don't make
much sense that is from lack of sleep!

That's enough about that....  But thanks for listening to me....

I have to say besides the "M" word I live a pretty sweet life..
I no longer work..  I stay at home and watch that cute little
grand-baby of mine.  I have the sweetest husband in the world.
And I am so THANKFUL for it all..

This week over at City Crafter Challenge Blog
that is what our challenge is all about
*THANKS* giving
Cheryl is our host and she is challenging us to make a
Thank you card or a handmade gift.

So I colored some flowers.

All pink and pretty..

Then stamped a Thank you...

To make this sweet card...

To get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over to
City Crafters Challenge Blog..  You could win a spot to be a GD if you win!!

Thanks so much for stopping in.
I really do appreciate all you kind comments..

Adorable card - love those colors! I'm having a hard time adjusting to the time this year, too... I keep watching the clock in the evenings, seeing if it's time to go to bed. I woke up at 2:15 this morning, and the moon was so bright, I thought it was dawn, LOL! Ah well, it's nice to have a little more light in the mornings when my daughter is off to middle school. I suppose we'll adjust eventually. ;)

Gorgeous card my friend ... I don't like the clocks changing either ... it's nearly 5 in the evening and it's pitch black outside. As for the "M" word ... I hate to say it but I still wake at 4am ... no more night sweats but still wake up ... what's so special about 4am?? my SIL is the same!

Goodmorning, Linda! I hope it is a better one today. It is actually raining outside! You know we have only had two" since January so I am so grateful for the rain today! Love you beautiful flowers, then you card is special, too. don't mind the rantings, been there done that. I went through all that early in life and fortunately I lived in Scotland where it was so cold so I did not notice so much. I still don't get much sleep, but at least now I can get up and go back to bed when I want, I just never feel like I have had any sleep. Have a wonderful day, wishing for you some sunshine, but then Myles is in your life!

As always, all of the little details you include are just perfection.

P.S. The "M" word?? Just keep repeating...
"And this too, shall pass." :-)

Oh the "M" word... I know it well... that and the night sweats ~ GAAAK!

Well...at least I don't have to put up with that time change thing living in Saskatchewan. Hmmm.... I wonder why no one has caught on to the joy of not switching the clocks? 1 hour of extra day light in the morning or at night. What does it matter? We have never changed (or at least, not for as long as I can remember) and we don't seem any worse for wear.

I decree the world start 'getting with the time' and not changing it just like Saskatchewan Canada ~ woot woot!!

hahahaha... but we have to put up with the cold and the snow... oh well.... ;)

Happy week to you Linda!

Linda- eek the "m" word! I am sorry you have to go there. I have some friends that are experiencing it and have complained more about the sweats and flashes but not the sleep part. Hmm. Maybe the time change has caused this? Not sure but hope it gets resolved for you. Your card is totally sweet! Love the fresh image and stitching you did for it! Fabulous! :-) Amy

Oh good gracious! You must have taken that daisy photo and is it gorgeous! What a perfect inspiration for an absolutely adorable card. :-) I really like that you stamped on colored paper. I don't think about doing that, but it looks awesome. Thanks for the great inspiration!

Amazed again ... a single flower inspires such talent> I've got to make 3 handmade Christmas cards for a prison ministry -- gonna have to study your work and steal some ideas. :) Thanks for sharing.

This is so sweet, I love from top (the pink flower shot) to the bottom (your lovely pink flower card), everything is so pretty!

It was fun meeting up with you today, and of course baby Myles too, he looks even cuter in person, thanks for having me today.

So glad you like that little dish, I saw it last night and couldn't put it down, waited 15 minutes in line (only one person in front of me) just to cash that out, when I get my turn, the cashier said "sorry for the wait", I replied, it was a looooong wait.
When she wrapped the gift up so nicely and gave it to me before I leave, she apologized again "sorry for making you wait" and I replied "its ok, it was worth the wait" : )

I only have few signs of the "M'period but I know what you mean. Most frustrating is less energy from time to time. Enjoy being at home and watch your adorable grandson.....
And your card; grogeous...as usual :)

Comment #2 - I am lovin' the music. I have it playing in the background, and had to come back and tell you. Don't worry about MS M...she too will pass, but sometimes she leaves little hints that she is still around. ie sleepless nights.

Terry said...

Ok, now I want you to tell us how you really feel about the time change and maybe the change! I also hate it! Leave it alone, leave it one way or the other, but leave it alone! I understand why we needed the TC a hundred years ago, but we don't need it now! Sorry about you lack of sleep, because I know only too well how that feels! Don't you love it when you start to finally doze off to sleep (like after an hour of laying there) and then the hot flash hits?

Well I feel better now, but that may just be because of your beautiful card! Love this, so life is still pretty darn good!

Oh, the M stage of life! I am just starting it and I have to say it is a challenge. I do hope that it won't hang around too long.
