I can't believe
it's been a whole week since my last post.
Time is just flying by!

And as your'e reading this I am on my way to
Portland, OR.

My daughter  has packed up her house
 and pulled out on Saturday.
She if off to start a new chapter in her life.
It took them two days to get there.
But they are in there new home now in Oregon.

But I have the sweet little guy (Myles) here with me
So he didn't have to make the drive that is almost 1000
miles away..  So I have been spending the past couple of days
getting in my grandma time before he is gone.

It will be a short trip for me,
I will be back home late Wednesday.
So I have time to get ready for the full house here
on Christmas Eve!

So I have another card to share with you for this
weeks Challenge over at City Crafters Challnege Blog.
The sweet and talented Kirsty came up with
a perfect theme.

Winter White.

So the challenge is to make your card or project with the primary color
being White!

So this is the card I made in between
hugging and kissing Myles..

I had so much fun making this card.  I used my embossing folder to
get the raised snowflakes in the background.
and the silver heat embossing for the
ornament and the frame.

To get all the details on this challenge you can
head on over to CCCB!

I do hope you are enjoying the season..
And I will catch up with you when
I get back from dropping off this sweet package..

I also wanted to say thanks you to the sweet bloggers
who sent me special Christmas card and goodies.
I haven't had time to take photos.
I really do appreciate it and
will post when I get back!!

Hugs, Linda

Oh, Linda! Many, many ((hugs)) to you! I am thinking of you, my friend. 17 years ago, I moved across the country from my family, so I know what you're going through.
Love your gorgeous winter white card. Truly so elegant and classic. Love all the layers and love the embossing, both the dry and wet. Fabulous!

Beautiful card, Linda! I did not get to see the photo, so I had a hard time with this challenge. Love your picture of Myles. I know you will cherish it and the memories of him there. That is real love, I thought driving my children to college and driving home alone was bad. Hugs to you my friend.

Myles is a beautiful little boy. Must be great for you to have the extra time and also very convenient for both Myles and his parents at this time of travel and unpacking.

I love your card. I have made many cards over the years but haven't tried using an embossing folder (although I love the effect).
