Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

 Hello my sweet friends.
How is your weekend going.
I am enjoying it to the fullest.  Saturday some girlfriends and I
took a 5 mile hike up at Mount Charleston..
(About a 45 min. drive from Las Veags)
I know that might not sound very far to some of you, but
it has been awhile for me and the high altitude got me
breathing pretty heavy!! And it was pretty darn cold.
But boy did it feel good.  I am so mad I didn't take my camera along.
What was I thinking.

So It's that time of the week again.
Time for a little hunt.
And here is what I found.

I just love the look of Lily's.  I usually don't have much luck 

photographing them..   But I am pretty happy with this shot.

Found Texture

This flower look so beautiful..  I just love the wonderful texture it has..

If only I knew what in the heck it was!

House

Here is a bird HOUSE that is in my back yard..

I am sure that some sweet bird would love to call this home..

You know I can't go a week without capturing my Grandson

in a photo..  He is so darn cute and my heart always skips a beat when I see him.

 Here he is under cover!!

While we were on our trip to California we spent a day
at the Point Loma Light house and on the way there we stopped at this
Cemetery..  It was such a beautiful day.

How in the heck did that happen!

Hello..
How are you doing?

I have had a fun week didn't get a whole lot done.
Just getting settled back into my daily routine after being gone..




Well as you know I just love taking photos..  Just like a lot of you!
It really does help me notice all the beauty out there in this
big old world we live in.
Here is a photo of a bougainvillea I took in CA.  I just love the
color. I have never seen this color before..

I did manage to get into my craft room a play with some paints..

Has this ever happened to you....   You start off making one thing....

And its all going well..  Your liking it..

And then all of a sudden you go a whole different way..

Yes there was a flower on here a moment ago..

It just didn't feel right!

So this is what I ended up with.  How in the heck did that happen..

I kinda like it!

Hello Friends...

How are you on this sweet Tuesday morning..
Don't you just love this time of year.
I just love to be able to wake up throw on some sweats
and grab a cup of coffee and sit out on the patio.

I got this shot while I was in California.  The trees here in
Las Vegas still have all there leaves..

I would just love to live where the leave changed all these
 beautiful colors..




Like I said it is a sweet Tuesday morning which means it's

Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

Hello my sweet friends.  I am back from a wonderful weekend in
Arizona.  My sisters wedding was beautiful and it was a fun weekend
of celebrating with my friends and family.

Congrats to my sister and my new brother-inlaw..




I had my Scavenger Hunt photos done before we left for our trip
but we got such bad service I could not get online this morning so
I had to wait till we got home.

Warning... This is one long post!!!

Hello my sweet friends I am back today with a great big
Thank you post. But before I get started I just want so say
sorry I have not been around again..  I am out of town again.
My sister is getting married..  I have been so busy, no time
to be on the computer.  Oh how I hate missing time with my
blog friends.


 I have gotten all kinds of happy mail and just wanted to
share it with you and say thank you to some pretty awesome ladies..

Like I said this is a pretty long post.. 

You just might want to grab a cup of coffee or tea and settle in!

When I got home from my Vacation there was all kinds of happy mail

this first one was from Kirsty. It was a great big box full of all kinds of

papers (the DP are just gorgeous) and flowers and brads and 

seam binding..  so many goodies to play with!!  I am still smiling..

Thanks you Kirsty!!  You are soooo sweet!!

And then just look at all the pretty items that came in this package.. 

I am still drooling over the bag on the right.. It is truly gorgeous.

And the card is just amazing..  And Ros knows how much I love kitties and

got me a cute little magnet. And some crochet hearts that you will be 

seeing on a project real soon I am sure..

Happy Tuesday my sweet chickadees
Sorry I haven't been around much. I have been busy unpacking
and spent most of the day yesterday playing with Myles..

 It is amazing in one week how much he has grown.
And he is getting around everywhere.. He turned 6mo. a
couple of days ago..  I can't believe it..

Also today is my sweet daughters Birthday..
She really is the light of my life.  And I couldn't have asked for a sweeter
daughter..  We are so close.  She is one of my best friends..

Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

Hello my friends..  Well it is Sunday and our
Vacation has come to an end.  We will be driving home today.
The good news is that I get to see my little grandson.
Boy have I missed him!

Thank You So Much....

I just wanted to Thank everyone for all the 

sweet Birthday wishes..

Yes, My birthday was yesterday.

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate it than at the beach.

It was a nice sunny day!

We spent the day in Coronado just browsing the little shops. 

We had dinner at a little Mexican restaurant.

And then I got my yummy birthday desert.. 

Mocha Ice cream cake..  It was so good!

This little guy kept eyeballing me the whole time..
But I wasn't about to share!

Well the celebrating isn't over yet.. Today is my hubbies Birthday.
Yep, I am one day older than him!
I always liked younger men.

I have something to share with you..
On Sunday my blog went MIA for quite a
few hours I guess..  I got some e-mails asking me what happened.

Blogger said there was some suspicious activity going on with my blog
and to just follow a few easy steps to get it back..
Then they said if that didn't work to
Sit down..
Take a deep Breath...
It's not the end of the world..
And then give them a call...

I have to admit I started LOL when I read that.
I really couldn't believe what I was reading.

Anyway as you can tell its back and running fine for now..
Lets just hope it stays that way!
