Hello Friends...

How are you?

I know it sounds kinda corny to ask about the weather,
But that is what I am asking!  How is the weather where you are?
The weather here has been gorgeous.  A little breezy at times,
And so far it has been a mild winter.

This shot was taken out in the desert not far from my house.
Lots of bird just hanging out in the brush.  I could hear them but
they were tough to see.

So Let me show you the card I made
for this weeks challenge over at City Crafters Card Challenge.

Sweet Ros is our host this week and the challenge is
Back to Black
You must incorporate any Black Silhouette image
onto your project!

I found this cute image at the Graphic Fairy.
I just love looking though there images..

I am thinking this would make a perfect Mothers day card.
I also love it cause it has a kitty on it!

I got to incorporate all my favorite things on this
card.  Stitching and seam binding. Even a little bit of
old book paper.

So if you would like to play you can pop on over to
City Crafter challenge blog.
So excited to have June as
our Guest Designer this week..

I do hope your week is starting off well..
This week is quite busy for me.
I have lunches planned with girlfriends all week!
That is always fun!  I think they are worried about me
missing my daughter and grandson..
But I am OK...  I know they are happy so I am Happy!

Talking about Friends..  I got a chance to meet another
Blog friend this weekend.

Bec from Patina Moon and I got to meet up with
I am so glad Bec asked me to tag along..
Cathy is such a sweetheart.  Just like she is on her blog!
We had a great time chatting and drinking coffee.
It was was so nice to meet her.
Blogger are the best!

Till next time my friends..

Hugs, Linda

Wow! That card is gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous!
By the way.....it is cold but sunny here. We've been lucky and haven't been hit with any snow since that freak snowstorm we had back in October .... and I'm fine with a winter without snow!
:-D

Linda, that first photo is incredible...the colors are so light and soft, like a silk quilt. Love it!

Your card is sweet...you take such good photos...I am always impressed. It's like looking at pretty candies in jars.

I was excited to see your photo of you ladies meeting together....how cool is that? I'll bet that was so fun to meet. I don't know if I will ever get the chance to meet any blog friends because I live in Kansas. I don't think anyone blogs from Kansas. Ha ha.

Happy Tuesday Linda!

Super cute card you have designed there!
It's funny reading your post that for the second time today someone has mentioned The Graphics Fairy. I have no idea what this blog is but I aim to find out... Looks interesting.

Great card!

Hi Linda, I'm so glad you're out enjoying your self! 'Ladies who lunch' is the expression we use, it's lots of fun :0) Love your card, so many beautiful details, one day I too will stitch on a card but it'll never ever look anywhere near as good as yours LOL
Over the pond in the UK the weather here is mild, today is a little colder than of late but it's 9degsC very unseasonal, saving on the heating though :0)

Hey girl, I love your birdie shot...so cute! Love the card too, and that button on the bow stands out to me, it looks really neat! I sure had a great time on Sunday, glad you were able to join us! Also, a big hug and thanks again for being there for me yesterday, it really means a lot!

Gorgeous bird in the brush shot and I spied your macrox below...wow...love the eggs! Weather wise ...can´t complain about the mildest winter in Germany´s history since recording of weather and for all I care it can stay this way till March cause then we are out of the woods snow wise anyway. The Alps are closed off...as of about 5 days ago they had like a months worth of snow in one day and people are stranded at the ski resorts and people can´t get up to the resorts cause all the roads are closed and the avalanche danger is extremely high.
You designed another gorgeous card for our delight today....and lunch with the girls alllll week...oh heck you got it rough don´t you:) looks like you three had a good time too...that is great when bloggers meet up isn´t it. Have a good rest of your week!!

It's been unseasonably warm here with very little snow ...so unusual for Minnesota.

Your cards are such works of art. Super!

Love the silhouette image and the design is fantastic as always! How fun to meet more blogging friends! It just makes it so much more real! The weather is lovely here as well. Pretty cool in the AM and warms to the high 50's to mid 60's during the day! I love it!!!

Gayle Price said...

Ooooh your card is so, so beautiful !! I do love that little black silhouette too. Well the weather here has gone from 40 degrees one day to 19 the next, so we are having extremes, which can be a bit unsettling. Lunch with the girls is always good and how great to catch up with bloggy girl friends....when are you coming to Australia ?? xx

June Houck said...

Elegant and sweet card, Linda. The silhouette is beautiful as are all your little touches of lace, flowers, and stitching.

Your silhouette card is so beautiful, Linda! Except for an isolated freak snowstorm in October, our winter has been quite mild (so far!) here, too! I hope it stays that way--but my kids are hoping and praying for snow!!

It is always lovely to meet up with blogging buddies when we can :)
Your card is SO pretty and delicate.
The weather here in the south of England has been exceptionally mild this winter with plants from last summer still flowering and this spring's flowers and blossom coming out early. No frosts you see when this time last year we were covered in snow!

Stella said...

Your card is a piece of heaven; it has everything that I LOVE. The picture of you and your blogfriends is lovely; you are such a young granny!
Hugs!

Hi Linda, the weather today has been mild for the time of year, strange grey skies though that look like snow skies even though it's 10deg. I have a feeling that we will be in for a shock before we know it! Beautiful card, I'm sure it would also make a beautiful "Daughter" card too!.x
