The sweet life!

As I am sitting here writing this post I feel so Lucky to have
such a blessed life.  It was so sad to see my daughter and grandson
leave on Sunday!  But how lucky am I to have such a great
relationship with her.  My daughter is one of the sweetest people I know.
Like I said I have such a blessed life!

Playing along with Texture Tuesday.  Texture I used is Yesteryear by Kim Klassen

I guess having them here and all the excitement of them coming took
it's toll on me.. Yesterday I ended up sleeping until 9:30 in the morning.
I am usually one of those early morning kinda gals. If I sleep in till 7:00 that
is late for me!  Lets just say I was in shock when I woke up and saw the time.
So how about you...   Are you a morning person?  Or do you stay up late
and sleep-in in the morning!

Tuesday means its that time again for a challenge over at
City Crafters Challenge Blog.

I am hosting again this week and came up with a pretty simple
theme.. "Just a Touch of pink"

I used this stamp that I have had for ever.
I  think it is so pretty.  Just adding that touch of pink to
her lips make her look so elegant.

So a pretty simple Tag!  Not two many embellishments.
and pretty darn easy to put together..

To get all the details on this week challenge you can hop on over to
City Crafter Challenge Blog!

Thanks so much for popping in.
I do hope you have a happy week!

Hugs, Linda

Lovely creation, Linda. :)

I'm a nite person who wakes up early. If that makes any sense. Lol.

Love your creation!!! I am not so much an early early morning person- probably because we usually start the day at 5:30 & that stinks. But on the weekends we really only sleep until about 6:30 & then we both need to get up- just can't lay there anymore.

I know you are missing here. I know how hard it is because I have been on the other end and was away from my mom for 8 years just to move close to her and she passed away a year later. Enjoy every minute you can with them. Life is too short!

I am a morning person for sure! I hate sleeping too late, I feel like my day is gone if I do. :)

Hugs~

The card is nicely understated. You must feel better for having had a good sleep. I'm a morning person but also tend to stay up late....not always intentionally.

Such a beautiful tag...and as far as morning or night, I think morning is best for me, altho my lack of sleeping has a definite effect on this. So glad you had happy, happy times with your daughter and grandson!!

Hello dear Linda, I'm happy to hear you had such a great time with your family. It's so nice to see their pictures.
I love your tag and photo of the bird. I wasn't planning on entering any challenge this week because I've so many things to do, but now I see this... hmmm...
As for sleeping in, I WISH I could sleep in but I seem to have lost that talent somehow somewhere :)

Happy week to you too!
hugs, Wendy

Sounds like my kind of challenge, that 'touch of pink'! And your little touch of pink in the form of lipstick gives such prominence to this lady's face. Beautiful!

I can't seem to sleep in late, almost ever. - especially thanks to menopause - oh joy :\

Glad you were able to get some extra ZZZs!

I do know how you feel...after having my daughter with me for a while it's almost like you have to make up for that time NOT spent together so emotionally at the end you feel a bit drained and of course sad because they've gone. :( I love your tag, so pretty and elegant and that little bit of pink is perfect. xx

I like the way the embellishments make it look like an old-fashioned hat. Always enjoy your creativity.

I'm definitely not a morning person.

It's absolutely perfect! The touch of pink on her lips is just the right contrast to go with the other tones and I love the doily on the top half of the tag. Beautiful accent! :-) Hugs!
