Wind, Wind Go Away....

As much as I wanted to be outside enjoying the warmer
weather it has been entirely to windy.  So Yesterday I took
a little drive to Lowes to pick up a new humming bird feeder and
of course had to take a peek out side at all the colorful flowers.

I just love these yellow happy flowers..
They just make me smile!

They Actually had some beautiful Hydrangea's in different colors
I was so temped to buy one.  But I just knew they would only last
a couple of months in this heat.

The photo about has one of Kims textures called awaken at 100%.

So this is the season that I pull out my hats.
I have quite a collection.
Lots of baseball caps, a cowboy hat, a straw hat.
I have to keep my head covered up. I have had some skin cancer
removed from the top of my head.  I am thinking it's all the sun here in
the desert has finally caught up with me!

So when Ros over at City Crafters came up with this week
theme I could totally relate.   Hats Off To You!
Or hats on! Hee Hee!!

Just look at this cute digi from Bugaboo stamps.
I just fell in love with it.  I just love that hat!

I colored this cutie with my copic markers.
I have picked up some more colors so I could blend better
but still need some practice.

To get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over
to City Crafters Challenge Blog.

I am going to see the movie "The Hunger Games"
with my girlfriend this afternoon.
I guess I have been under a rock, cause I don't know much
about this movie.  And I didn't read the books so I guess I am a
little curious about it. Either way it is always fun to hang out with
my girlfriends.

I am so glad that you stopped by.
Till next time my friends,

Hugs,  Linda

Beautiful soft yellow flowers and what a cute, cute card. Ugh, don't ya just hate it when the blows so hard that you can't enjoy the outdoors...I know about wind coming from the windy city, I am off to see The Hunger Games on Friday with a girlfriend. I read the 1st book and looking forward to reading the other two. Wonder how you will like the movie having not read the book? Enjoy!!

Gorgeous shades of yellow. And I really like how the texture and application you chose doesn't scream "texture"! It is just so darn natural looking. Well done.

Aaack! what a cute flamingo, in her bathing suit and matching hat.

Good for you, wearing those hats to protect you. You don't want that skin cancer to come back!

Love the photos of the flowers from Lowe's. Did you do that with 50 mm lens?
