It's all about the Name..

Hello my friends..

I have another chunky ATC to share with you.
To be honest with you I have had this done for some time now.
I feel like it needed something.
And I really couldn't put my finger on what it was.
So I put it aside to see if maybe one day it would hit me..
Well that didn't happen. So I decided to go ahead and show you!

I just love this image.  I have used it before.  It is a Digi
stamp from Michelle Perkette

As I was coloring her I was thinking that she looked like a mermaid and
I should give her a mermaid name.  But the only mermaid name I could
think of is Arial from "The Little Mermaid".

I don't think she really looks like an Arial.
What do you think?

Of course lots of sparkles for my Mermaid.
I really don't know if that is so smart.  If she were a real
Mermaid all her sparkles would be washed away by the sea.
hee hee!

Here is a side view. I used crackle paint again.
It's so fun to play with.

So I was thinking of giving this little gal away.
Would you like the chance to win her.

All you have to do is give her a name?
Let me know what you think her name should be and
I will enter you into a drawing. I will pick the winner next Monday,
on May 7th.   That's it!!

So on another note...
Have you noticed+ I haven't been
around a whole lot lately.  It's because
The hubby and I are on a little getaway.
We are in one of my favorite cities.  San Francisco.
I did not take my computer with us so I will make sure to catch
up with you all when I get Back!

Thanks so much for all your encouraging comments.
I really do appreciate all of them.

Hugs, Linda

She looks so exotic, so let's call her Abalone Seychelle. (Of course, said in a very exotic sort of way.) It's beautiful, Linda. She is beautiful.

I think she should be called Serena, first because she looks so serene, secondly because Syrena means mermaid in Polish :). Lovely piece my friend. Enjoy your romantic getaway! x

I totally agree ... if she's a mermaid all her glitters will be washed away :)). I like to call her ARWEN. (like Arwen Evenstar in Lord of The Rings). She could easily be a fairy. Love her. Thanks for the chance.

What a fun project....she is really sweet. As far as a name..hmmm I do like Muriel, Sparkle and all the others. With her red hair and green she looks like she could be swimming off the shores of Ireland...let's call her Irena. Have fun on your trip and "see" ya when you return.

OMGosh, she's stunning!! Absolutely stunning, and she doesn't need a thing! This is absolutely perfect the way it is! I think I would name her Flo. Just the movement of her hair makes me think that she's flowing in the water. :)
How fabulous that you are off in SF. One of my most favorite places in the world. Enjoy!

she's so cute Linda!! Beautiful! Well, let's think... Melody, or Ondine, or Jewel, Madeline, Arista, Waverly, Ianthe, Pearle, Oceane (French pronunciation), Melusine, Marina, ... :)

Good thing you didn't bring your laptop to SF. That place is just too beautiful to be hiding behind a screen. It's one of the places I just love in the US.

xx Happy week!
