So many Decisions... So little time..

textures I used are Simplicity 50% and Embrace 41% both in soft light.

Hello my sweet friends..   How are you?
I have to say things here in my world are pretty darn good.

I haven't spent as much time as I would like
playing in my craft room..  Same old story.  I know.
But I can't seem to get motivated when the sun is shining
and the temperature is about perfect,
so I am spending my time outside.

I know the hot summer heat is coming then I will
spend more time indoors.

My craft room is a mess..  Maybe sometime today I will
pick it up..  Hummmm .   Or I could sit and enjoy a good book
in the backyard sipping on some Ice tea.  Decisions, Decisions.
I have to say this retired life is working well for me!

I have a tag to show you.
I made it for this weeks challenge over at
City Crafters Challenge Blog.
See.. I did spend a little time in my craft room.

Ros is Challenging us to use tulle and book paper on our projects.
How fun is that.

I used the tulle to make this pretty bow.

I used this wonderful image from Graphic 45.
I just love using these old images.

As you can see my book paper in the background.
and then I added some lace and even a little burlap.
I really enjoyed making this.

To get all the details on this challenge
you can hop on over to
City Crafters Challenge Blog.

Thanks so much for all your kind
comments I really do appreciate them all.

Hugs, Linda

I love your first photo of the lace and the little punched flowers, so soft and pretty, it makes me just want to get into my craft room and create. Your tag is beautiful too...I love the tulle bow. I know what you mean about messy craft rooms...I love being in there creating but the havoc I leave behind is really bad, sometimes it takes me a day to clean it up and sort it out before I can start a new project, I just can't seen to "tidy" as I go, must work on this. Enjoy your sunshine Linda. xx

I'm glad you are enjoying yourself, my friend! I have to admit that I'm not spending much time in my craftroom either these days. Seems so hard when it's so pretty outside. But if we're enjoying ourselves, than that's all that matters. :)

I say we should all retire and be summer birds, of course you can always escape up to see your little man:)

It is hard to get motivated when the temps get nice and you could be outside instead crafting in your room. Agreed completely! I tried to package up a project and take it outside but the
Iight breeze had items blowing and my patience was spent so back in I went.
Old images are fun to work with and your tag today features a gorgeous one! Love the lace and pearls you paired with it! Sending more happy days to you!

The weather sure has been lovely hasn't it?! I am loving that we have not had to turn the air on & I am going to cherish these 80's & 90's while I can. It does make it hard to want to be indoors because I know that once those 100's set in- I won't be stepping out for much until things cool down in October.
