Wishing spring would stay just a bit longer...

Hello sweet friends.  Can you believe we are already half way
through May..  Where does the time go.  It has been quite warm here,
I just wish spring would stick around a bit longer.  But I don't think
that is going to happen.  I have already been in the pool a couple of times.
So I guess its time to say goodbye to spring and

Hello to Summer!

But it's not even June yet!!!

I feel like the bad Witch from the Wizard of OZ.
I'm Melting... I'm Melting...

I have had these little paper flowers for so long
I finally used one of them on a card I made for

City Crafters Challenge Blog..

How's that for a segue.  hee hee...

Yep,  It's Tuesday time for another Challenge.
This week I am hosting and I came up with a sketch..

also for this weeks challenge our sponsor let us use these great
images.  I had so much fun with them.  Isn't she pretty..

You know I added all the things I love to put on a card.
Like seam binding and stitching and that fun paper flower..
Now this gal knows how to put lipstick on.. Not like the gal from
my last post.  Hee Hee..

So here is what my card looks like all finished.. If you
want to see what the sketch looks like or to get the details on this
weeks challenge you can hop on over to

City Crafters Challenge Blog..

If you play along you have a chance to win some
 digital images from our sponsor

Well that's all I have for now..  My daughter and Myles are
coming in for a visit..  I pick them up from the airport tonight.
I am so excited.  You know what that means.
more photos of the little guy!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Linda

Great sketch Linda ... thanks ... Love your card it's just so sweet ... enjoy your time with Myles and his Mommy ... just so you know ... we haven't even gotten to Spring! It's cold and wet with a bit of sun ... not holding out any hope of summer ... perhaps you need to spend some time here ...

Linda your card is so, so pretty, beautiful details and so well made. I do love the image you have used and am so tempted to have a go at the City Crafters Challenge but cards scare me. I am really not confident with them, I think because I need lots of space to create and cards are so small lol. So happy to hear your daughter and Myles are coming for a visit, I can sense your excitement.....have a wonderful time with them. I, my hubby and my older daughter fly to Melbourne Friday to spend the weekend with my younger daughter, so a family get together and I'm excited too. Enjoy your time with your dear ones. xx

This card is beautiful Linda, and I love those little flowers.

Here in NY, spring is not sure it really wants to be here. One day beautiful, and the next cold and rainy. I have a feeling there won't be much spring and that we will just hop into summer. At least I hope we'll hop into summer!!

Have a wonderful day my friend!
xo.
