ENJOY...

Hello Sweet friends.
I don't know about you
but here in Las Vegas summer is definitely upon us.
Everyday this week should be nice and hot.
This is always the time of year I question why
in the heck do I live here.

The good news is that this is the time of year
that we take lots of trips to escape the heat.
So I guess it's not all that bad.

I just love the word enjoy..  It is such a happy word.
The word just makes me smile.
And it is the word that was printed by a sweet blog friend
on the front of this card.  Thanks Cynn..

So let me show you what I created for this weeks challenge over at
City Crafter challenge blog.

It's a tiny little pillow.  I had so much fun making this. I was
so happy to see that my sewing machine still worked on material.
It has been awhile.  As you probably know I use it a lot for my cards.
Although I did do some hand stitching also..

It was my turn to host this week so I came up with the theme
Buttons, Buttons.  You must use 5 buttons on your project.

As you can see I used some pretty fun elements on my project
Like Burlap and Lace and Seam Binding.

I am really happy with the way this turned out
but my sweet Husband doesn't understand why someone would
need a little pillow like this.  So I had to explain that girls just
like pretty things to decorate there space with.
He couldn't argue with that.. :)

To get all the details on this challenge you can
head on over to

********

I also wanted to share some
HAPPY MAIL
that I received..

Here is a postcard that I received from Valerie from Bastelmania..
I just love the collage work here. Thanks so much my friend..
I love it.

And that's not all

I also recieved these wonderful magazines with some chocolate and
a couple of stamps from another sweet blog friend.  Cynnie,  And her blog is Galerie 46.
These magazines are in German and I have really enjoyed looking through them.
So pretty.. Now if I could only read some of the recipes.. Hee Hee..

And here is the beautiful card Cynnie
made me.. It really is gorgeous..
I love the way she wrote the word Enjoy..
But I think I already told you that..
Thanks you so much my sweet friend it really was
so kind of you..

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs~

Look at all the sweet things you received in the mail Linda ~ that is "happy mail"! Men just don't understand a woman's mind do they? Maybe that's a good thing. Haha!

The word 'enjoy' is a wonderful happy word, I agree.

So with that, I hope you have a very enjoy-able week! :)

Hey my friend!
Well, sun is hiding over at your place then! It rarely shows here... clouds, rain, storm... but we had some nice days back in May (at least).
I adore the pillow you created, the colors, details, lace... just everything.
Oh and I will gladly help with the German ;-)
