Sea of Yellow Flowers...

Hello my sweet friends.
I am sharing some photos with you that I took
last summer.  I have been busy trying to get some of
my photos off my computer this morning and came across
these photo.

While camping in California we had decided to get up early
one morning and go to a swap-meet..  As we were driving we came
across this field of  flowers.

You know I made my hubby pull over so I could get
some photos of the sea of yellow that was on the side of the road.

Such a beautiful site.

*******

So let me show you what I have come up with for this weeks

The theme this week is "I been Hexed".
So many of you are using hexagons on your projects so
Cheryl our host for this week decided to have us use them for
our challenge.  All you need to do is use a hexagon on your project.

I have seen so many wonderful projects out there using
hexagons.  But I have to admit I was stumped.  I did try to do
a page in my Art Journal.  But that turned out pretty scary.

So a card it is.. With all my favorite things.

You can head on over to CCCB site to get all the details
or just to check out what all the other gals have created..

We are not the only ones who have a hexagon challenge this
week.  Over at Moxie Fab World they are also using hexagons this week.
So I am liking up with them as well..

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I really do appreciate all your kind comments.

Hugs~

Love the flower photos. Yellow is such a bright, happy color. The shallow depth in the first two images is so pleasing. Enjoyed your take on hexed!

Patches or fields of flowers like that always make me think of the movie "The Wizard of OZ" and I start humming that song. So pretty!

I would have loved the field of flowers, too. So nice of your hubby to stop...mine would have kept right on going, which is why I still haven't participated in barn charm yet. The only nice barns I see are when he's with. Oh well...love him dearly. :)

Hello my lovely Linda, I've been a bit on the busy side so although I've still been calling by via my smart phone, it isn't always happy to let me coment from it. Love the yello flowers, simply beautiful, mother nature did good I'd say. Your hexigans take me back to one of my earliest school sewing projects, a pin cushion, the stitching I'm sure was dreadful but at the time I was most proud. Hoping you are keeping well, Julie.x

The photographs are amazing. I especially love the first one. Those hexagons didn't stump you too terribly much because the card is lovely with the row of hexagons. It is a great combination of sharp angles and soft curves.
