A Little bit of a vintage feel...

Hello my sweet friends.
How are you enjoying your summer so far?

I have to say I am loving every minute of mine.

The hubby and I have been out of town on a two week trek to
Portland, Oregon.  We will be headed back real soon.
And I am sure you know who we are visiting.
It has been so nice to escape the heat..
Even though they are saying it pretty hot here,
Its nothing like Vegas heat.

This week over at City Crafters I am hosting.
And the challenge I came up with is to create
a recipe card..

I really enjoyed creating these.
I am definitely going to make some more
when I get back home.

I had gotten the inspiration for these
from a stampington magazine I got sometime ago.

The hardest part was trying to get that
vintage vibe without the ink running
all over.

The ingredients are on one side and the
direction are on the flip side.

So I do hope you enjoyed my little recipe cards.
To see what all the other gals created you can hop

Today we are going to do a walking tour of
downtown Portland.  I just love to do walking tours.
So much fun information.  So my hope are the you
are having a wonderful week and that you are
enjoying your summer as well.

Hugs~

Linda, those are some of the prettiest little treat recipe tags I have ever seen! Very clever! When I want to keep ink from running, I give it a quick spray with Krylon matt sealer! Enjoy the rest of your Portland visit, with you know who! Hugs!

Now aren´t these just theeee cutest things I have ever seen. What a fabulous way to have recipes. I can see them all sticking in a cute vintage jar of some sort ...one of those old Ball jars or something.
Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Such a beautiful idea for recipe cards. I love walking -- when the weather is good. Don't get that often in the summer heat of the Kuwait desert. :/ Enjoy Portland. Best wishes, Tammy

We don't have really summer here in Germany. It rains very often and temperatures are only about 20° C.
Your recipe cards are wonderful.
