Decisions.. Decisions...

Hello my friends.  How are you?

My week is off to a great start.  I took a little trip to the craft store
yesterday.  That is always fun.  I don't know about you but I can
spend hours in  a craft store just browsing all the aisles..
I have to say I am pretty bad at purchasing anything.
I always play the game in my head. Do I really need this..
I already have so much stuff that I should use before I buy more stuff.
So a lot of the time I leave without buying anything.
But I really do enjoy just window shopping.

How about you..  What does the little voice in your head tell you.
Does it tells you to BUY.. BUY.. BUY...
or does it say "Do I really need this".
Decisions, Decisions.....

I am hosting again over at CCCB. So this weeks challenge is to use a
image from Graphic Fairy once again.
This time I chose a Butterfly image for you to use.

I just love using images from The Graphic Fairy..
But now that I see this close up I am guessing I could have
done a little bit better on my fussy cutting..

I made another bookmark for this weeks challenge.
And used the image on both sides..

I used lots of Mod Podge on this project.
So this bookmark is nice and strong and flat.
Should last a long time..

You can hop on over to City Crafters Challenge Blog for all the detail
on this challenge.  Or you can hop on over just to see what the
other gals came up with.

*********

I have Christmas card #3 done. YEA!!
I am linking up to Jingle Bells once again.
The challenge is still Santa Baby..

I just love using these vintage Santa images.

I am thinking about buying some red stickles to add to some of
my Christmas card..  You know to give it that extra sparkle..
See I should have bought some yesterday while I was at the craft-store.
But does it really need it?  There I go again...
Decisions..  Decisions..

Thanks so much my friends for taking the time to leave me such sweet comments.
I really do appreciate it.

Hugs~

I make jewelry and I yes, I find myself saying - Do I need this - I have more beads than I could probably ever use. I love your bookmarks, might have to make some! (with some bead dangles of course) ; )

Beautiful bookmarks! And I love the Christmas card. Another winner! I admire your restraint in shopping. If I go shopping, I am coming home with SOMETHING. lol

Love the bookmark, Linda....and the card is fine without the red sparkles or embellishments but isn't Christmas supposed to be full of hope and brightness....hmmmm, shiny things would go real nicely... :) Sometimes is is difficult to find that fine line between "done" and
"Opps, I've over done it." I love what you do, always.

Great challenge Linda, I really enjoy it, thanks!

I love your tag as well, both sides.
Cute cute holiday card too!

And speaking of craft store, sigh.... the only way I can stop buying is to stop going : (

Linda, I love your bookmark and the use of the butterfly, beautiful image of one! Well, to answer your question, I just don't go look, I know if I go I will buy something. And I really don't go with my daughter, she tells me that I need this or that, or I will buy that for you mom and I come home with stuff I don't want or need. I love sharing time with my daughter, I just don't let her take me to the craft stores anymore. I am still trying to clean it all out from a move three years ago and don't need to add to it. Of course i still order my stuff online!!!! Have a wonderful Tuesday, great challenge.

You are too cute about the craft store! But I can so relate.....I really do try to not buy too much. But somehow, my room is always overflowing. :)
Love your challenge theme this week. You picked such a beautiful image from the Graphics Fairy. I am always such a big fan of anything with butterflies. Love your bookmark. So very artsy and I love the different sizes and ways you used the butterfly. And what a gorgeous Christmas card! So love that Santa and your design is fabulous!

So many craft supplies...so little time... I always do that in the craft store too. Do I really need this? Do I? The worst? When I buy something, bring it home, and realize I already have one! Or three! LOL! Oh well.

Loving your Christmas card!

I love Mod Podge, it is the original! Oh my dear, these tags are beautiful as can be and I just love the Christmas card! Now about the shopping thing! I was a BUY, BUY, BUY gal, but not I have run out of space, so I have to really think about it! Like you and I am sure "ALL" of us, there are things I have that are seldom used and some never! Enjoy the evening and baby, it is hot here!

I buy very little now a days...just don't want to haul more stuff into the house...of course if I was a crafter that might be a different story...xo

I used to be a strictly BUY! BY! girl, but i have learned to step back and decide if I really need it. There are still WAY too many "had to have, but never used" products in my crafty stash. LOL
I am just lovin' your tags Linda. That green butterfly just lends itself so beautifully to projects. You ladies really rocked the inspiration for this challenge and your Christmas card is wonderful too. Hugs and have a wonderful week!

The little voice says "Do you need this?" and "Where will you put it?" so I often buy nothing or very little......in any shop, except basic food ingredients.

Love your book label, beautifully done and I love the quote too, so true!

Fortunately, there's no craft store in our little town. I used to swarm Hobby Lobby when I lived in Omaha at least once a week. Love that place!

Love the bookmark, so creative. I usually come home with something from the craft store that I don't end up using but don't throw away because you never know ...

first of all, I LOVE the new font for the post :). These tags are LOVELY, Linda!!. LOVE the rich colors & the flutters of course. Hugs.

I usually put everything I like in my cart, then I edit before I go up to the register. I usually end up putting about half of it back, and buying things that "go together" so I have coordinating embellishments!

I love the tags and the Christmas card! I can't believe how close we are getting to Christmas, this year is flying by!

What a timely post!
I am on board with Caroline (NoWordz Photography) this month for a month of no clothing purchases. Other than my photography "stuff," that's my weakness.

I just love these tags, and as always, your cards are so beautiful.

Wishing you a most wonderful day, my friend.

Linda I play that head game too LOL! The tag is just scrumptous!! I want one like it, I would spend more time looking at it than reading :) Beautiful Christmas card,,,keep it up and you will be ready ahead of time @@ me rolling my eyeballs at someone so organized :)

Oh, your tags are fabulous! Do you ever use them? I wouldn't want to. I do a little crafting, but not like you. Email me at ldelegal@yahoo.com and give me your mailing address. I'll send you a surprise and you'll understand why I buy too much when I'm in a craft store--better to just not go in. :) Have a happy weekend.
