Happy Friday..

I really don't have anything crafty to show you today.
And I didn't want to go a whole week without saying
hi to my sweet bloggy friends again..
So I thought I would share some photos
I took last week while I was camping.

This little fella was so small and I had a tough time
catching a photo of him.. I am thinking he is some sort of
wood-peck just because he was doing what
Wood-peckers do.. Pecking on the tree.

And it really wouldn't be a real camping trip unless you
had these little guys hanging out with you.  They are fearless.

I know your not supposed to feed them but he was just so cute.
Just a little bit of a Triscut wouldn't hurt.

I have to say I don't think I have ever seen a Blue Jay
here at Mt Charleston.  But this guy hung out way high so
I could not get too great of a shot.
But he makes a great silhouette
photo.

And this little gal was giving me the eye.. I think she was
a little bit mad because she was having a bad hair day and
didn't want her photo taken.

So do you have any fun plans for this weekend?

I will be taking some photos of my girlfriends daughter
later this afternoon. She is 16 and such a sweetheart.
I always get a little nervous when
I am asked do a photo shoot.  I like to take photos as a hobby when there
is no pressure..  So we will see how it goes.

Well whatever your plans I do hope you have
a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs~

Beautiful, beautiful images Linda. I almost feel like I have been away camping with you. That little brown squirrel ( is that what you call them, or is it a chip-monk ? ) any way, he is so cute as is the last little bird. I think your camping trips look wonderful. Good luck with the photo shoot, but I know you will be fine and take some truly beautiful photos. xx

I'm all about no pressure photography! Good luck tomorrow. Maybe the more you do it the more relaxed you'll become. I'd love to do portraiture but people make me nervous--especially if I don't know them.

Wonderful photos here. That bird above the chipmunk looks like a chickadee of some kind. But I could be wrong (and probably am).

Such sweet photos. Yup, that first little cutie is a Nuthatch. I have them all year round here. They make the cutest noise. Have a fabulous week. :)

Love the photos - especially the birds! The first is a White-breasted Nuthatch. There is also a Red-breasted Nuthatch but it depends on where you are in the country. You may not see one of those. The lady having a bad hair day is a female Yellow-rumped Warbler. The males have a bright yellow cap to match their sides and rump. I love warblers - there are sooooo many different kinds!

Thanks for sharing your photos - beautiful!

You certainly captured some great things up there on the mountain. Did you get any rain while you were up there? Looked pretty threatening at the top from my vantage point.

Congrats on the photo shoot- that is super exciting. I know you are going to do a beautiful job!

Hugs- hope your week is going well.
