Life is busy but I wouldn't have it any other way...

Linking up to Texture Tuesday..  the texture I used is February magic edges

Hello my sweet friends.  Life has been quite busy for me lately.
But I have managed to squeeze in some creative time.
Don't get me wrong. I am not complaining.
In fact I am enjoying every minute of it.

Later this morning I meet up with a group of ladies for a fun
morning of cards.  We started playing cards at the beginning of summer
and have been having a blast.  And then after my morning card game
I meet up with another group of friends for lunch..
So lets just say I will be one busy Lady today.
But it sure is the type of busy I like.
Enjoying friends and food.
Life doesn't get any better than that.

So let me show you what I made for this week's
Challenge over at City Crafters.

I made a card, not just a card, but a yummy card.
This week Kirsty is our hostess and our theme is Bake Sale.
You have to use a Cake or cupcake you know.. something yummy
on your project.

So I made a birthday card because you can never have
too many birthday cards.

And I added stitching and buttons and flowers
you know all the things I like that make it pretty.

I just adore this image and had fun coloring it with my copics.
The Red kept bleeding so I had to color it a couple of times.
And this image is from  "A Day For Daisies".
Isn't it the sweetest..

To get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over to
City Crafters Challenge Blog.  While you're there you can check out
all the wonderful creations the other gals have created.

So not only am I busy today,  but tomorrow I will be packing
up Big Bertha.  That is the name we gave our trailer.
We are headed out first thing Thursday morning for another camping trip..
This time we are off to Zion National Park.
I am really looking forward to it.

I will do my best to keep up with whats going on with
all of you.  But if I run out of time I promise I will catch up soon.

Hugs~

Another beautiful foody card, Linda, I just love those strawberries! I made the grooms card when my daughter got married. She got married in the city where she went to college as she married the week after they graduated and all their friend were there. So I baked the cake, then iced it in the motel the night before the wedding. It was chocolate with fresh strawberries lining every edge. I got up the next morning and the red strawberries(color) had run into the icing and it meant that I had to pick up the strawberries and sop up the juice, add a little chocolate frosting, I was a wreck, but the grooms cake was eaten, not a crumb left, but we had tons of the gorgeous wedding cake left! so maybe it is not the Copics, but the strawberries! Have a wonderful time out today and a wonderful time camping!

even if one somehow managed to HAVE too many birthday cards (which i NEVER do, despite constant production, lol!) one would still be willing to make room for this ♥DELIGHTFUL♥ and delicious confection! yum, yum, yummmmmm!!!

(ps: i'm laughing at "big bertha" but i must say the enjoyment you get from camping really is infectious; even *I* (city-loving; NON-roughing-it kinda gal!) am intrigued by the idea of how much fun you have! have a FUN, FUN, SAFE, lovely weekend!!! ♥♥♥)
