City Crafters....

Hello my sweets.
How was your weekend?
Mine was good, I just wished I had gotten a little bit more
crafting time in.   This morning when we went to have
our morning coffee outside it was still a bit to warm out.
But the weather man is telling us it should be cooler by tomorrow.
Hmmm..  I sure hope he is right.  I would love to be sitting outside tomorrow
morning with my coffee watching the humming birds at the feeder.

Let me show you what I have created for this
weeks challenge over at City Crafters

The super talented Charlene is our hostess this week
and is asking us to use polka-dots on our projects.

I needed to make a Anniversary card for my Brother in-law
So this is what I came up with.  The polka-dots in the background
is a stamp I have.   And don't you just love this vintage image.
I bet you can guess where I got it from..  "The Graphic Fairy"

A little burlap and some lace with a little stitching to make it pretty.
And the Sentiment was created on the computer.

To get all the details on this challenge
you can hop on over to
City Crafters Challenge Blog

And while you're there you should take a look at the gorgeous
cards the other gals made.  So much great talent over there.

I was supposed too be busy.. busy.. today but my
plans changes so I am hoping to get some time in my
craft room and play with a little paper and paint.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs~

You are so talented! This would fly off store shelves if it was mass produced. I'm certain of that!

What a gorgeous card, Linda, love the black and white approach, and love that old image! We are having cooler night temps, but still in the 90's as well. Fall is coming though so you will be able to enjoy the outdoors soon! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Love the monochromatic look of your pics in this post, Linda. :) I was thinking of you today...saw lots of flooding in the Vegas area. You okay?

Beautiful vintage feel in this anniversary card, which I know will be a treasure! We are suppose to have one cooler day and then back up to the high 90's, with no rain! Hope your area was spared the flooding! Hugs!

That's a sweet anniversary card, especially in colour - very nicely done.
The postcard swap looks like fun - you have received some beautiful cards. Snail mail can be such a treat.
