Halloween Already...

My Cape honeysuckle has not had too many flowers until lately.
Now there are so many blooms and they add so much wonderful color to
my yard.  I have them in my front yard and back yard.
They also stay green all year long.  I love that.

For some reason the bright colors of these flowers are hard
for me to photograph.  That must be because of how bright they are.
The Honeysuckle in the front yard had so many bees I just had to try and
grab a photo of them.

So on with this weeks challenge over at
City Crafters Challenge blog.
The challenge this week is called

AN EARLY BOO!

Kirsty is our lovely hostess and is having us gear up for that
scary holiday...  Halloween.

Truth be told I just love Halloween. I still dress up every Halloween
as a Witch and give candy out to all the little trick or treaters.

So here is my Early Boo card I created.
That fun witch and moon image is from graphic fairies.
To get all the details on this challenge you can hop on over to
City Crafter Challenge Blog.

That's a wrap for me today.
I do hope you all have a fabulous week.
And thanks so much for all the kind comments.
I really do appreciate everyone of them.

Hugs~

I have found that direct light on the subject makes it very difficult to capture the color correctly. These are still pretty, though! Love your Boo card. :)

Hi Linda! I love your Halloween card! And how do you get those bees and bugs to cooperate with you in these photos. I think I shot about 50 photos one day trying to catch one but nope.

Have a great day!!

Always love your cards, always so inventive an lovely. Just fyi, I have discovered that if I bump the exposure down (notches to the right of the middle)when photographing bright colors like reds, oranges or yellows it really helps.

Brilliant card - especially love that backing paper and the image. Totally with you on how fab Halloween is. My grown-up sons cringe at how I still decorate the house and dress up!

When I was a child I had a Halloween noise maker that had that picture on it. What fun to see it again.

heh, heh, heh.... that's so cute that you still dress up for Halloween! I always have loved the adults who did that - as a kid and, even, now. But, then, all of a sudden I'm wondering why I never do.... but I think that between pumpkins and getting three little boys ready.... phew! That's enough for me, thanks! But I dressed up even through college.

Hunted Easter eggs into my twenties, too! ;)

That is spooky fun over there!
DO YOU really dress up for Halloween? I was just telling Randy maybe I should for the first time because I love to hold that little basket with TOTO in it.
And ya, we just go home 30 minutes ago, imaging getting up at 6.30 central time this morning, it is like 4.30 am for vegas, and my first class starts today, not sure if I have the energy to "perform". And I have been wanting to meet up with you before you leave town, how's your weekend like?
