It all about the make over...

Hello my friends,
I do hope your week is off to a great start.
It is nice and cool here this morning.  We have had
a strong breeze blowing in this cooler weather.  And I am
enjoying every minute of it.  The cool weather that is, not the breeze.

In just over a week. Halloween will be here.
That means its time to pull out my witch's costume to
scare the little ones.

So do you celebrate this Holiday called Halloween?
When you stop to think about it, It really is a weird holiday.
We get dressed up and go door to door for candy.
We carve pumpkins and bob for apples.
Tell spooky stories.  Or watch scary movies.
As weird as it sounds, I love it.

So I don't know if you guys recognize this little one, but
it is Myles (my grandson). My Daughter posted this on facebook
and I stole it to show you guys how big he is getting.
They were trying to pick out their pumpkin.
He is at the age where he is just starting to say words.
I guess he kept on calling all the pumpkins apples.
How cute is that.

It's all about the make over.

Do you guys remember this card?  Well this is the card I used
to do my make over on.  Over at City Crafters this week Kirsty
is having us do a make over on one of our own  creations.

And here is my card all made over.
Completely different, isn't it?  But the layout is the same.
I think I still like the original better.
But hey, another Christmas card done.
Still lots to do.  I think I am running out of time.

If you would like to get all the details on this challenge
Or to see what all the other gals make overs look like
you should hop on over to City Crafters Challenge Blog.

Some more stolen photos..
I don't think they will mind.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I do hope you have a happy week.

Hugs~

Now that you mention it, Halloween is kind of a weird holiday! I love the dressing up part, and the candy part, but not the scary part!

That is adorable that your grandson called the pumpkins apples!

I love the cards :)

We don't really celebrate Halloween, though I think we will be handing out candy this year. Our new neighborhood seems to have more kids, so I'm assuming they'll be stopping by. Myles is getting so big and so cute! Thanks for sharing all the photos and card goodies!

Happy Tuesday, Linda, of course I love Halloween. If you have children, it can be a fun fall time. We always had parties for our girls when they were younger as well lived in the country and there was no way to trick or treat. I always do treats for the neighborhood kids. I love your pictures of Myles, love his curls and blue eyes! Your cards are both lovely, equally so. Have a fun day my friend!

Oh my goodness, Linda, I cannot believe how much Myles has grown, and he is still just too adorable!

It looks like you are all ready for Halloween.

As always, your cards are wonderful, but I especially love the anniversary one. So nicely done.

Wonderful photos of Myles, you know what, Halloween is something new to me, when we were in NYC, the apartment we live has no children, so I don;t really get trick or treats until we move to Las Vegas, and I haven't dress up for halloween, I told Randy i am going to be this year, dress up as Dorothy because I really want that TOTO in the basket!

Wonderful make over card!

Your grandson is so sweet! Love the photo of him sporting the checked jacket at the Pumpkin Patch.

We live in an area where we don't get visitors for Halloween so we usually stay in and watch a movie or something. This year I will be working.

Love your new makeover. :)

Myles is sooo cute!! How adorable. We don't celebrate Halloween here (my older son is born on Halloween lol)...though, I can see it is starting to catch on over here in Australia. I love the cutout pumpkins, some are so amazing in their cut-work/design. Both your cards look as stunning as one to the other....
