Scavenger Hunt Sunday..

I almost didn't play along in this week's
Scavenger Hunt.

I have already been back for a week and I am
still trying to get caught up on things..
Time goes by so quickly sometimes I am finding it hard to keep up.

So I pulled together some photos for this week's hunt. A couple are from
the archive and a some are from our trip.

The words for this week's hunt are;

Orange or Pink
Faceless portrait  (YiKES)
View from the Top
Cozy
Stacked

ORANGE OR PINK

As you can see I went with Orange.
All the flowers on my Mexican Bird of Paradise are gone now.
I just love their vibrant color.

FACELESS PORTRAIT
I did try to do a faceless Portrait of myself.
But personally, I think it turned out pretty scary.
It is getting close to Halloween so I thought I would go
ahead and post it.  Are you scared?.  Hee Hee...

FACELESS PORTRAIT #2
So I really wasn't going to post that last photo.  And this is the only other photo
that I found that I could use.  I caught a photo of this gal in Central Park.
I wonder what was on her mind. Was she on a lunch break just relaxing.
Only she knows for sure.

VIEW FROM THE TOP
So they just don't have pigeons in Vegas!!
I caught this guy sitting on top of a light post. With all the wonderful
big buildings behind him. He must have a great view from up there.

STACKED
While in New York we came across a converse shop.
And their display was so cool. You know I had to get a
photo of it.

COZY
A glass of wine by the fire on a chilly evening
sounds pretty cozy to me.

I have a little secret to share with you.
My Hubby has his own Blog.  All these years he has been
making fun of me and my blog.  He wanted to start a blog to
keep track of all the trips we take..  He says I put too much fluff
in my post when I write about our trips.  Not enough facts.
That's a man for you!

He has more photos of our trip on his blog if you want to take a peek.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I really do appreciate
all your sweet comments.

Till next time!

Hugs~

I simply love to look at your photos and when you put words to them as you do in the scavenger hunt that you do it just brings them to life even more for some reason. The girl studying her hair in Central Park is an awesome capture Linda! It's such a fun photo. And the pic of you is fun too...you are surrounded by snow :)

The cozy wine...oh yes!!

have to say that stack of shoes is cool-looking. the girl looks like she's looking at her split ends (similar to a pose i'd see when my daughters had long hair). so, of course you need to participate in SHS... we'd miss you!

LOL, isn't it just like a man to think you need nothing but the hard core facts? ;) But good for your hubby for starting his own blog. Will definitely go take a peek.
And I LOVE your photos for this week's hunt. There definitely were some challengers this time around, but I love what you came up with. Your "faceless portraits" are fabulous........and no, not scary at all! ;0 Love the stacked photo and love your take on orange. Truly love them all!
