Did you say BEAR!!!

Hello my friend..
Did you enjoy your Halloween?  I stayed up late watching
scary movies.  Not too smart of me because then I couldn't sleep.

I have some photos to share with you from our last trip to
Williams, Arizona.

While in Williams we ventured out to a couple of places that were
close by.  Flagstaff being one of the places we visited.
What a cute little town with lots of fun little boutiques.
And lots of brewery's and coffee shops.

On our way home we took the old highway route 66.
It didn't look much different than the newer highway except the little towns you
run into along the way.  They were full of old memorabilia
about being part of the old Route 66.

We also spent the day at a new wild animal park called
Bearizona.  And yes there were bears there.

This sure was a big guy.  I think they are being well fed here
at the park.  I still felt a bit sad that the animals were all caged up.
I just don't think it is natural.

This badger was none too happy that we were here..
He kept hissing and charging the fence.
Poor little guy look scared.

Way up in a tree we spotted this guy just hanging out.
I don't think he moved the whole time we were there.
I didn't even know that porcupines could climb trees.

On our last day we visited Cataract Lake.
We were the only ones there.  It was so quiet and peaceful..
A perfect way to end our trip.

Thanks so much for stopping by
and taking a peek at my photos,

Till next time!

Linda~

Gorgeous photos, Linda. When we hike in the mountains, I always have an eye out for the bears... don't know what I'd do if we came across one... probably faint!

And a perfect way to end your post! I love that shot of the lake with the bits of orange in the background. Enjoyed seeing all the animals--I hope they're happy there. I agree with you that animals should not be caged. But you took some wonderful pics of them!

Such cute pictures! I totally agree with you about the animals. I won't go to the zoo or circus for that very reason. It breaks my heart! :)

Wow, you take the MOST amazing photos, Linda! These are fabulous, and what a beautiful spot you visited. I know what you mean about zoos and animal parks. It's nice to see the animals, but it's so sad, too. You really did gets some amazing photos of the critters. Love the lake view, too!

Love that first shot! Zoos make me a bit sad but I know they serve an educational purpose. But still, you have some great photos.

Your photos are so beautiful, but yes it is sad the animals are in cages. I love the little porcupine, he's so cute, he is my favourite. xx

Linda you take the best pictures. Ever thought of being a professional photographer?
I feel the same way when I see critters locked up. It just doesn't seem right!
