Hello Once again..

I got it all done. I took me a couple of weeks but all the decorations
are up.  I kinda like doing it nice and slow one box at
time.

I even put out my Christmas village this year.
I haven't put it out the last couple of years. I don't know why.
I am guessing because it takes so long to put together.
But I sure am glad I took the time this year.

********

On to this weeks City Crafters Challenge.
Our Hostess this week is the sweet Charlene.
And below is the cute inspiration photo.

The challenge this week is pretty fun.  Use a snowman
in your project.  That's not the all.
Also you have to use nontraditional colors.

I had colored two different snow men before I gave up and
went looking for an image.  You would think coloring snowmen
should be easy right.  Not a lot of color just WHITE.
Leave it to me to mess is up. Twice.. Hee Hee.

I found lots of Snowmen images but they all had Traditional
colors in them..  Till I cam across this image.  I got it for a Google search.
Just look at that image. I am thinking that is not even a real snowman.
But a pretty bad costume of a snowman. Kinda made me smile.
But those girls are so sweet.

So here is my card.  I had a tough time getting a good photo of this
one.. As you can see I embossed the background and used a little seam
binding.  But no stitching this time..  Can you believe it..

To get all the details on this challenge you know
what to do.

I have lots to do today..  I am meeting up with
some girlfriends. And then I need to get busy and
get the rest of my Christmas cards done..

Life is Good!

Hugs~

Wonderful card, Linda. Love the image and the colours you've used.

We have now bought and dressed our tree. We have a real one every year as we love the aroma of the pine.

I am with you, Linda....been taking the holiday decorating nice and slow this year. I've got a few tiny finishing touches to do still, but other than that, I think I'm finally done. Really love that glimpse of your Christmas village. I have a few pieces, too, so that really caught my eye. Looks gorgeous. And so does your card! Love that fun image you found and love your non-traditional color usage. All that brown is soooo up my alley!

What wonderful details in this delightful card. You gave it just the perfect touches with the button, the trim, the embossing and the Merry tag. :)

That first photograph, I could see as a wall mural...amazing. Love your Christmas village, its gorgeous and its wonderful you did get the time to put it up. Makes life a little more 'christmassy' (is that a word, no?) lol
Love your card too Linda, the sweet embossed background, lightly coloured on the bottom. The vintage image is adorable, and your bow, perfect!

Pretty village and oh do I love that snowman! What a great card! I have not set up my villages for some time and I had wanted to do that this year, but with going to Portland and being behind, don't see it happening! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs!
