.

I am popping back in to show you a couple more photos
from our trip. But before I get started I wanted to show off this little guy.
He has been staying close to his feeder lately.
So it has been pretty easy to get some photos of him.

This photo really looked so bad, But once again
I played and played with it in PS.
Believe me when I say there is not this much
color in the desert.

Here is just one of the shots of some of the
trailers out here in Quartzsite.
And let me tell you this is just a little area.
There are a heck of a lot more trailers than this.

And just a quick shot of the fair grounds.
They sell everything you could imagine out here.

So you wanted to know what I bought. Glad you asked..
You did ask right? Hee Hee
A couple of Hats and a Burlap backpack, a belt.
Oh yea and a new gas heater for our trailer.
Lots of good deals out here.

Here is a photo of our Truck and Trailer. Soon to be home.
It's less than 5 months till we move into Big Bertha.
Would you like to know where our first stop will be..
As of now it will be Wyoming..   Far Far away from the Desert..

Is that where the Deer and the Antelope play. Hee Hee..

I'm not getting too nervous yet.
But we shall see as time get closer.

The Sunsets in the desert are pretty fabulous.
If you can look past all the Dirt and sage brush. Hee Hee..

Well that's all I have for you today..
I do hope to be back for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
I haven't even started to take my photos for this week.
YIKES..

This is the first time I am linking up to

Till next time~

Linda

Good grief that's a lot of trailers! Wyoming sounds like a wonderful choice to me. We were so in awe of Yellowstone and the Teton area near Jackson Hole. Your photos are amazing as always. The colors on that little hummy are just amazing. We don't have these little fat guys. Have a wonderful rest of the week! Hugs!

That is the most unusual hummer I've seen! I wonder what type it is? Beautiful!! The sunset is jaw-dropping. Now I'm off to look in my trusty bird book for that hummer!

Okay, I think it's an adult male Costa's Hummingbird. The gorget is dark here, but that might be due to the light. Wow.

Forgot to say have a safe and fun trip!

Linda, I do love the hummer shots and the beautiful sunset...Im with you a bit tooo many people and to much desert ;) So where in Wyoming are you going?? 25 years ago we used to spend time at Jackson Hole and at the lakes around Pinedale. I understand they are all pretty developed these day but I tell you I got the most amazing wildlife shots there ever! I followed a mother moose around for two days and she let me get within 8 feet of her and her 2 day old calf. Beautiful bald eagles, and huge bull moose all over. If it is still that way you will be in hog heaven with your photo talents my friend!!

Oh Linda, I do love your hummingbirds! Do you talk to them? My hummingbird family always came when I was talking to the cats. they were so friendly, it kind of surprised me. I really miss them. We just had wind today, thus the headache from all the dear pollen!!! Have a wonderful Friday and I would be getting nervous as well!

Love the hummer. The RTHs should be heading back north soon, but they never linger long. Love your cactus scene and am glad you kicked up the color. It pops!
