Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Hello my friends..
I had every intention on doing another post this week
but  time just got away from me..   I had a couple of
unexpected things pop up this week and then once again we
are out on the road.  A last minute trip.  So I am putting this
post together while we are out and about.  I am using Window Live
Writer..  You can put your post together without being on line..
I have used it once before but that was a couple of years ago.
so we will see how it works.

So here are my photos for this weeks hunt.

BASKET
Here is one of many baskets I have at home.
This one stores my magazines..

PARK
I got up early one morning and took a walk to this park. It's not
too far from our house.  It was such a cold and windy morning
I was the only one there.  For some reason I had such a hard time
getting a shot I liked.   Not too crazy about this one.

AUTO
For this prompt, the first thing that popped into my head
was to get a shot of some sort of button that said AUTO on it.
No such luck.  So you get to see a photo of my Auto-mobile.
I just love my little black sports car.  I bought it when my daughter moved
out.  It made me not so sad about the empty nest syndrome
if you know what I mean.

RECYCLE
This is what it looks like in my neighborhood on
trash day.  The whole neighborhood got new cans, one for
regular trash and one for recycle only.

PEOPLE WATCHING
I know I live here in Vegas and there is no
better place to people watch except maybe New York.
I got this shot while visiting  NYC last summer.

Thanks so much Ashley for
Hosting.  I LOVE to play along in your
 weekly hunts.

Well if you are reading this it means the Windows Live Writer worked.
We have almost no internet service out here in the desert.  So I
will get caught up with you when we get home.

We are here in Quartzsite AZ..  I have never seen so many
RVs in one place. It is a little bit crazy.  I do hope to get some
photos so I can show you.

I do hope everyone is having a happy weekend.

Till next time...

Hugs~

Wonderful photographs, love the car one, and also the city view... I think I would flip out if I was to be surrounded by so many people. Would be an amazing experience, to sit and watch though. Enjoy your trip, and look forwards to seeing the photographs when you get home...

It worked!! Beautiful photos Linda, and I had to laugh when I saw the long row of trash cans. Wonderful shot.

Didn't know you live in Vegas. I was there once. Only one night though, we were on our way from Los Angeles all the way to New York by car. Best trip ever!

Hugs, Wendy

I have never seen such neat and orderly trash - all lined up so perfectly. Your selective focusing in the basket shot makes for a great picture.

Great set!! My favorites are the last two shot... especially of the trash bins all in a neat row. :)

I agree the trash cans make a very cool shot! Ours never look that neat and tidy! Love the people watching. NYC is the best place for that!

The recycle shot is pretty cool. Love that you're provided with one specifically for recycle. We have to pay extra for that stuff. I also love the people watching shot. Great capture.

WOW...you guys got both a new trash and recycle can. Our city would only give us a recyle can but we had to buy the other...how silly is that? Very cool shot btw.

Beautiful photos, I LOVE them all. The first shot of the bush is just peaceful. I could sit there all day and watch the birds, well if it's not to cold :). Oh, your car is swanky, LOVE it. Thanks for sharing!

Linda, I am always in awe of your photography skills! I am managing with macro photography pretty well, but other stuff seems just out of reach for me. I love to see what you do!
