Thank you so much...

For all your well wishes.
I slept most of the day away and woke up the next
morning feeling wonderful.  In fact, I spent all
morning out in my backyard..

And as I was sitting outside sipping my coffee, these little
fellas were just begging to have their photos taken.

These little red finches are pretty spooky birds.
Every time I go outside, they all fly into my Star Jasmine.
It takes them quite awhile before they pop out again.
But I had my camera out and was waiting.

****

I also have a journal page to share with you. I was going to
show you it on Tuesday because I used some more of that map
on my background.  But I had no photos of it until now.

It's a mixed media mosaic page.  I had a blast making this
page. Lots and Lots of mod podge. You know how much
I love to play with it and make a big gooey mess.

A lovely lady named Linda made a Youtube video that explained how to make this
page. If you would like to see it you can hop on over HERE
I used an old cereal box and used Mod Podge to glue the papers down
to the box. And then I cut them out into the shapes you see.

On the video they called them tiles.
And it is crazy...they kinda are like tiles.
Really thick and sturdy.

My Theme was Paris.  It's just a dream of mine to
go there one day.  (No not in my trailer). LOL.

I actually pulled out my hot glue gun to attach
most of the tiles.  But I used foam dots to raise the Eiffel Tower.

I had so much fun making this page, so I am going to do another.
I am thinking PINK and SPARKLY.
You know I love to play with glitter.

That's all I have for today.

I am so glad you stopped by.
I will see you soon my sweet friends.

Hugs~

Your little red finches are delightful, I so love your second photo of them. Pleased to hear your headache is gone, they can be very debilitating. Love your work, you have a knack of placing the tiles together so they "work" to create a cohesive and beautiful whole.

Also Linda thank you so much for praying for us during this time of flood scares, so appreciated. The river is flowing pleasantly slowly and dropping about a metre/yard daily - all is well.

Gorgeous photos and a wonderful journal page. Those birdies are soooo cute! Glad you are feeling better. Hugs, Valerie
PS I could drive to Paris in a trailer from here if I had one, but it would be mighty difficult to park it anywhere!

Look at the expression on the last photo of the bird, curious plus. How adorable are those birds. Your journal page looks fabulous, an interesting concept of tiles, and very eye-catching. Looking forwards to seeing pink and sparkles.

I'm not sure exactly why but this site is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end? I'll check back later
and see if the problem still exists.

Hello Linda, came over to see your blog after your nice comment on mine.

First of all I'm so sorry you have not been well, and hope you will recover soon:)

I never get to see Red Finches where I live, so it was great to see such beautiful captures of them here. Their inquiring looks are quite adorable.

See you soon
Sonjia.
