A Happy Hello to you

It's that time of the week once again
when I show you what I created for
City Crafters Challenge Blog.

But before I get started I have a photo of a happy
flower to show you. I took this photo last summer.

I had some fun playing around with this
simple little flower. What do you think?

This one is the original..  Just a little cropping and that's it..

This flower I played around with it in picasa..
I did a little sharpening, played
with the light and added
 a vignette to frame
 it out..

With this flower I used Photoshop elements.  I used the pug-in
Totally rad..  Such a fun program to work with.  I just love it.
Lots of cool different effects.   I have been playing around with
Adobes Lightroom lately.  Also a lot of fun to play with.

I could waste away a whole afternoon just playing
with photos..  It's amazing what you can do with them.

So on with this weeks challenge.
The sweet and talented Kirsty is our hostess this
week and the theme is.

WINGS OF AN ANGEL.

Is this the sweetest inspirational photo or what!

I created another bookmark or tag..
I call it a bookmark instead of tag because its completely flat.

For this challenge all you needed to do is
use wings on your project..

As you can see I used a butterfly.
I also used that map once again as the background,
along with some rub-ons and lots of
mod podge..

To play along with us this week
you can get all the details at

I am so glad you stopped by.
I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at what I created..

I am off to get some housework done. YUCK!

Or maybe I should just head up to my
craftroom and play a bit first..

Decisions... Decisions...

Hugs~

Love all your photos Linda! I didn't realize you had Lightroom...I recently got Lightroom 4 but haven't had a chance to mess around with it much. I might have to pick your brain. Just think of all the post editing fun you will have when you are a full time RV'r! The bookmark is beautiful...I always love butterflies and the map background is cool. Thanks for sharing your different photo edits. I think I'm addicted to 'photo editing'...I play with different edits all the time on my iphone...I have 12 different editing apps.. I think it's because I feel inadequate as a photographer, and take such dull and boring photos that the only way I can get them to look different and interesting is to "artify" them lol. My family get cross and say just give us the "real picture". Any way I love the look of the flower you have edited in Photoshop elements, I like the soft, grungy look. Your tag is beautiful. Glorious rich colours and perfectly designed. xx

I hope you're having a wonderful week, my friend.
