Hello my friends.

Today I bring you  photos of happy flowers.
All the way from Solvang, CA.

When we go on our little trips we love to go exploring or hiking
or just take a drive along the Pacific Coast Hwy.

This trip was a bit different.  We just hung out and relaxed.
But after the third day my hubby decided we should take a little
drive into Solvang.  And I am so glad we did.  We have been there
many times. And we just love this little Dutch town.

But this time was a bit different.
There were so many flowers blooming everywhere.
What a lovely site it was.

It was a perfect day to take a stroll in this scenic little town.
If you have never been here it is well worth the drive.
Lots of cute little shops and restaurants.  One could spend a
whole day and not see it all.

Do you see that Olsens Bakery shop.
We stopped in there and got a whole tub of Danish butter cookies.
I think I already polished off half that tub..
They taste so yummy dipped in my coffee.

So here is my project for this weeks challenge over at
City Crafters Challenge Blog.

This weeks challenge is All About Glitter.
Charlene is our hosted this week and wants us to add some
sparkle to your project.

As you can see I used glitter glue on my journal page.
I did a whole lot of outlining with the sparkly glue.

I used acrylic and watercolor paints on this page.
Along with some scrapbook paper for my flower.
This page came together pretty easy and was a lot of fun to create.

I also love the little happy reminder
on this page.  Makes me smile.

So to get the details on this challenge you can head on over to

So I hope you chose to be happy as well today.

I know It makes me happy that you
stopped in today..

I am a bit behind on visiting you all.
But I plan on stopping by to see what you have
been up to soon!

Till next time.

Linda~

Hi Linda, this town reminds me of Holland, Michigan. I have been there a couple of times, a long time ago now, to visit my brother and his family. Love those beautiful flowers, too. I suppose they might celebrate tulip day too.
Anyway, what a lovely card and sentiment - yep, deciding to be happy is a choice, not a feeling! Love to you,
Jacqueline

I just adore Solvang. When I graduated high school my mom, aunt & grandmother & I all took a ladies only trip there. It was already a favorite destination but I have not been there since my trip with them. Great memories!

Your card is so delightful. Love those embellishments that look like tiny pearls. The second flower shot is so awesome, I think because of the way the light is hitting the petals.
