Shades of Pink

I had big plans yesterday to get all
my yard work done.  There is lots of  trimming
to be done, not to mention all the weeds that need
to be pulled.  Well after about 4 hours outside I called it
quits.  But I will head back out today.

Yes...  I am slathered  up in sunscreen and got my big sombrero on.
The big old sun isn't going to stop me.

Linking to Texture Tuesday.  I used kk dusty rose at 60%
also linking to Tuesday Muse

But as I am getting ready for spring
Something is missing.
No planting..  This year I won't be adding anything
new to my yard.  I always love to make my trip to the nursery
to see what new lovely plants to pick out to put in my yard.

This year I am just trimming and pulling and cleaning.
I am going to miss working in my yard.

But I am going to love seeing the beauty in this
big beautiful country of ours!

If you are a new reader here to my blog,
My Hubby and I are renting out our house and
traveling the country in our fifth wheel.
It will be quite the adventure..

This week over at
its all about pink..

I am Hosting this week over at CCCB,
and I am doing color challenge

Shades of pink.

I created a tiny canvas.

I used papers from MME and acrylic paints,
water color paints
rub-ons.  I think that's about it.

Oh yea..
and a tiny bit of washi tape.
Can you see it?

And I put this cute little quote on my canvas
because I have started the process of going
through all my worldly possession trying to decide
what to keep and what will go to storage and what will be
donated to Good will..

Only 102 days left.  But who's counting..

If you would like would like all the details on
this challenge or just take a peek at what all the other
gals came up with for this week challenge you can hop on over to

Thanks so much for stopping by..

till next time.

Hugs~

How great to see your beautiful photography AND your wonderful crafting in one post! I separated my blogs long ago, and now I wish I hadn't. I spend much more time on my photography than on my crafting. ;-)

This is beautiful, Linda! LOVE how you've tied the colors together! And way to rock the textures and rubons! I have such a hard time with those rubons. Matter of fact, I just tossed a bunch, because one of them didn't attach itself correctly and ruined an entire project! Grrrr! Have a blessed weekend!
