Back to Reality

But just for a little while.

I enjoyed every minute of our week long trip to
Morro Bay.

No Television, No computer,
just quality time with the ones I love.
in a beautiful place.

We don't get much fog here in the desert so it was so nice to
wake up to scenery like this. It was hard to come back to the
hot desert where the temps are well over 100 already.

We spent some of our time at the Ocean.
I can't think of a more peaceful way to spend a vacation.
Other than a little shopping.... Which we did as well.

And then there is Mr Myles.
This little guy had me laughing and Loving life.
He is at that age when he copies everything you say,
but totally messes it up, which totally sounds adorable.

My favorite thing he would say over and over was
"Meemaw..   Whatcha doing"
I have to tell you every time he would ask me that it would melt my heart.

In just about 3 weeks we will be headed up to Oregon.
So I will get to see these guys once again.
Life is Good..

I had to throw in a photo of this crab.
We saw all kinds of them when we went to the tidepools not
too far from the campground.  So cool..  And they are fast little guys.
I must of taken 100 photos of these little guys and they are just a blur.
I was just wondering what this little fella was thinking
while I was snapping off shots?

Well that's all I have for now.
I just wanted to thank everyone for all your kind comments on my last post.
You are all so sweet, I really do appreciate everyone of you who
take the time to leave me some love.

Hugs~

PS...   While I was gone my sweet friend Kirsty had a Birthday..
I just wanted to say Happy Birthday my friend. I do hope it was a great one!

Hello Linda your adorable grandson looks like an angel!
I´m happy you went to Morro Bay with your family, my mother recently visited Morro Bay as well, and she loved it, the restaurants, the views etc. She brought somme post cards, and i also loved the views.

I love the photos of your family members - I totally understand those melt-your-heart moments!
I also am a fan of sneakers - so I love the sneaker shot. And I love fog and tide pools. Obviously we don't have tide pools here in Minnesota.. so I'm just in awe of all things sea-side. How lucky that you'll be headed to Oregon soon! The Oregon coast is up there at the top of my favorite places on earth. In fact, I just posted some photos yesterday.. http://ourfunwithfive.blogspot.com/2013/06/oregon-coast-canon-beach-to-newport.html

Mr. Myles is growing up and is adorable! Always love visiting your blog and going on a little mini vacation of sorts! Take lots of pictures on your visit to Oregon! We have been quite hot as well and with those fires, the air quality is pretty bad! Enjoy your day and soon, really soon you will be taking Big Bertha out of the desert! Hugs!

Fabulous photo's Linda, always enjoy seeing your travels. Your daughter looks great, looks like she has lost some weight, no doubt from chasing after Myles! That little big guy would melt anyone's heart. I love the crab, the coloring is wonderful, I did not know they had green about the head, unless that is because he was in the water! Have a wonderful week, what is left of it. Time does really fly! Hugs to everyone!
