I just couldn't do it...

I went out this week and tried to get my photos for this
week's Scavenger Hunt Sunday, and nothing was working for me.
So sad to say I had to take a pass on this weeks hunt.

I think I got a little bit distracted when I saw this little fella flying around.
I caught quit a few shots of him, But I just love the way this one tuned out.

You know how I love to get shots of Humming birds.

I also got a shot of this guy trying to stay hydrated..
You need to do that here in the desert.  I just love the reflection here..

I also have been busy playing with my Art supplies.

This is the Mixed Media page I did for a brand new challenge
that's going on.  It's a Mixed Media color challenge.
Hosted by Mona and Sue.

The colors this for the challenge are Pink and Grey and Black.
I painted my page grey, and then added some crackle finish to it and then pink
on top. I love the way it turned out.

I also made a tag for a Girlfriend of mine..
It was her Birthday.  I have told you before how I love
to give a handmade bookmark along with a book.  I do hope she likes it.

Lots of pink paint and markers and pencils used up this week. Hee Hee..

On Wednesday we will be taking Big Bertha to
Oregon for a whole week. I am super excited.
You know who I will be visiting?

Hugs~

Wow! I am in awe of the shot of the bee. It is fabulous! The hummingbird is a nice capture as well.

Sometimes the Scavenger Hunt prompts don't really speak to me either. Don't worry about missing a week. I think we all do it sometime!

If I could describe you in a short sentence I would say "a maker of pretty things." I would also have to make it the longest sentence in the world and add things like "thoughtful", "kind", and so on and so forth. :) Since you are going to Oregon will you be going to Grant's Pass? It's one place my hubby would like to visit someday. He got some brochures once and it was just an amazing place. Happy trails, stay safe. :)
