Hello November

October flew by way too fast.
I do hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween.

As you are reading thi,s we have said goodbye to Portland, Oregon
and we are on our way to Washington State.

I don't know what we were thinking when we decided to go to Washington
this time of year.  They say it's the rainiest month of the year.
But I got me some new rain boots and I am ready.
Bring on the rain!

Not only will we be visiting friends while we are in Washington,
we will be working...  Yep you heard me right we are going to be campground
host for the whole month of November.
I'm just wondering how many people will be out camping this time of year,
I guess we will find out!

I thought I would share some random photos of our time in Oregon.
After all it  is
Random Five Friday.

Everything about this Banner makes me Happy..

I sure am going to miss this little guy.

So many leaves..
I wouldn't want the job of cleaning all these up.

My favorite part of Downtown Portland is
the Saturday Market Place and Powells book store.
If you are ever in Portland these two things are a must.

I got to go trick-or-treating with my grandson.
It was so fun to watch him get so excited to get all the candy.
He was Happy-Happy that's for sure.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I really do appreciate all your comments.

Till next time

Hugs~

Your grandson is so adorable and I bet not like the cowardly lion at all. He looks very outgoing; what a great smile.
I hope you enjoy the month of camp. Doesn't sound much like work at all. You will probably meet some hardy folk who love the great outdoors. I bet there are some great photos and stories to come.
Stay safe!

Hi Linda and welcome neighbour! I'm just in Vancouver across the border for November before I head back to the UK for December. Your little grandson is so cute in his lion costume; I hope he had a great night and there was loads of candy involved. Have a fantastic November in Washington. I love to visit down there and know it's lovely any time of the year. :)

First, I want to say how much I love the new site design. Very clean and fresh. Good job!

Saying goodbye to Portland was difficult, I'd imagine. It's an area of the country I've grown very fond of since my daughter lives there. It certainly is a place for beautiful photography and you did not disappoint! The one of your grandson is extra special.

Hope your new gig gies smoothly in WA. Safe travels, my friend!

It will be interesting to see how many people do camp in November.. and that far north. Brave souls did they do. Far braver than me.

It's always such a joy to come and see what you are up to Linda...your photos are so fabulous (that black and white street photo -love), and the grandson throwing leaves (precious). You know, if it's not raining sideways when you get to Washington, put on your boots, open your umbrella and click away - it's fun! ( I shot in the rain at a football game from the sidelines, and it was so much fun.)

Until next time, Kim

Your Grandson is just so cute. Loved that Lion costume.
Depends on which side of the state your on for Rain in November. Although it is raining here today but we don't get as much as the Western Side of the state. Where will you be staying?

What a cute little guy! Love the photos!

We moved to Washington State a year and a half ago from Texas and are loving it. I hadn't visited Portland until just a few months ago, and we had a great time. We're on the Olympic Peninsula, so we get about half the rain that Seattle gets, so it's not too bad...depends on where you are in the state. Hope you have a good time!
